Glad Valheim is coming to an end because every time I try to open the game it hangs for 5 minutes or more before speeding up like it's an emulator and catching up.

I'm fresh off it but my final very short thoughts are that so much of Ace Combat 8 is so well done in every department that's it's hard not to think of it as the best entry in the franchise. For me, Zero is the best distilled experience of AC and 3 is it at it's most experimental.

It was when she saw daylight outside at the end of Mission 28 that she realized, she messed up.

Ace Combat's music ranges from memorable bangers to JP drama vocal theme to servicable bgm. But EVERY TIME I hear the Satoan chant song I feel like I'm hearing the music ESPN uses to show all the big hits in a college football rivalry before the players run out on the field.

I don't have like, vents (yes like amogus) in this place so running a currently releasing game means my room turns into a summer evening with a nice 89° and 76%+ humidity (I measured it once). That said, computer cools real good and runs AC8 quite shnicely.

Horse pin with an illustration of a horse and the following text:
"Give a man a horse he'll eat in a day, teach a man to horse. and make him drinks water."

One of them has the led bwoke and a fricked USB C port which caused me to stop using it but it doesn't have drift. It's also the one I got hella used!!! OK I guess!!!! AC8 and DD2 controller secured until I get a soldering iron for repairing the rest and replacing their sticks.

Madra @madramimi.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Looking at my like, 2 XBOX One, PS5, and Nintendo Pro Controllers with stick drift thinking "I should fix them". And then remembering it's like, 80-240 US bucks to get a soldering iron plus 13-25 bucks for each new stick, plus more for tin and lead.

Somebody keeps driving a warbly ice cream truck in the woods and it sounds like sfx from a cheap horror movie in 2006. That said, I'll frickin' get you nerd. Stop coming 45 minutes after stream start and I'll run after you with exactly 5 dollars. I only have so long, it's freezing again every night

Really enjoyed playing FAITH last year and it's super cheap on Steam right now. If you can handle a little horror it's short but quite memorable and I really loved the animations the dev did in the sort of, c64/BBC Micro era of computing graphics style. The vision sequence still sticks with me.

Finishing Ace Combat 6 last night was perhaps the worst experience I've ever had with the franchise. The Hague should designate both the lead writer and game designer as criminals.

Almost every reply to that post yesterday was a bot or, charitably, someone who could not read the intent of text to save their life. And also almost exclusively aimed at fu◇◇ies for some reason. No idea how that fits in. Anyways, exhibit no. 926485353 on why advertising on SNS usually sucks.

Made some adjustments to sound levels on redeems and subs, etc. to make them less intrusive, especially for new people. Will be doing lots of tweaks as I go and some bigger overhauls in the next few months so gomen if something changes suddenly. It may be temporary or permanent depending.

I know it's because everything needs to be directed towards monetization and algos, but I would really prefer having a blog or website where I can read teaching materials like step by steps rather than rewinding YT every few secs if the audio mixing is bad or I simply didn't get it. Text is better.

Ace Combat 6 isn't terrible so much as tedious and every mission overstays its welcome while keeping you mostly glued to the ground for targets about 80% of the time. Very anti-ace combat design compared to the PS2 games aside from like Glatisant. And the story is, well......

Hello hello! I'm Rye (He/They) & after streaming for 4 years I'm finally (& nervously) doing a light partner push on Twitch! Thank you to those who have supported us thus far, and any support in this next step of our journey is greatly appreciated! ✧ twitch.tv/chrysuscoris ✧ #twitch #partnerpush

A graphic for ChrysusCoris' Partner Push on Twitch. The overall color scheme is mainly comprised of yellows and pinks, the background has a floral design. The top text, within an oblong yellow frame, reads "ChrysusCoris' Partner Push'. Below that, within a pink oblong frame, reads "Hello hello, everyone!" Below that, within a yellow, semi transparent yellow frame, reads "I’m Rye, a cozy & chaotic fulltime variety content creator who started streaming nearly 4 years ago to make even one person’s day better." Below that, within a pink oblong frame, reads "How can you help?" Below that, within another yellow semi transparent frame reads in a bulleted list, "Lurk and/or tab our stream open
Join streams early
Redeem some of our alerts to let Twitch know you’re still there
Raid and recommend our stream
Like and repost ‘Going Live’ posts"
Below hat has a yellow cloud frame with the text "Goal!" Below that the yellow semi transparent oblong frame's text reads "75 average viewers for 3 months". The bottom left has three drawings of Rye, from left to right they are, a 'lurking' emote with Rye behind a wall, a 'heart/love' emote with Rye holding a heart, and a 'uno reverse' emote with Rye holding a uno reverse card.
