If I had a baseball bat, both my computer and the printer would be in pieces. I'm not sure which is to blame for my printing problems, so they both need to suffer. Also, having to walk across the building to print, only to find it won't work, is incredibly frustrating.

I am watching this on my lunch break and hooting with laughter. This is so surreal! After all the ridiculousness I have witnessed in the last decade, the fact that I can still be shocked at anything is amazing. Yet, here we are. If I didn't laugh, I would cry.

At this point, I would rather the Kennedy Center be torn down than to have that great orange lump get his name on it or get his tiny little hands on any renovation efforts. He would only turn it into a gilt monstrosity that has nothing to do with memorializing JFK.

Paying to park for work is the biggest scam! It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't raise the rates nearly every year. It also feels like an extra tax on those who have to work onsite. I'm not advocating to get rid of remote work, just annoyed that I have to pay to go to work!

I am so very sorry. I lost two dogs within 9 months and it is hearbreaking. Just know that you loved him and gave him a great life. Sometimes letting go is what has to happen even though it hurts so much. Hugs!

I told our staff person to let him know that the thesis should be cataloged, so the patron can look for it himself, and there is likely a digital copy. However, if he wants to see the physical thesis, he will have to tell us what it is because it is in storage. Otherwise, he is out of luck! So odd!

Today, in weird patron request. Someone wants to see a copy of a thesis on behalf of the author. Us: "Okay, give us the author name." Patron "No" Us: "Okay, what is the title?" Patron: "Can't tell you." Us: "Why?" Patron: "FERPA." So, how are we supposed to find it?

I love the feeling of "winning" at a doctor's appointment. My sleep doctor said that I am in the 98th percentile of usage and that they never worry about me because I do everything I'm supposed to and they never have to nag me. Look at me! I'm winning at sleep apnea and narcolepsy!

Today, the children at Annunciation Catholic School were shot while praying. Two were killed in the pews. Thoughts and prayers are NOT enough. We need immediate and comprehensive gun safety laws. That’s what saves lives.
