I watched a YouTube video and learned how to cut my own hair. When it was longer it was easier. I got a (very short) pro cut recently and I just don't have the money to keep spending to keep it short, so when it grows longer, I'm going back to cutting it myself.

Book #39 of the year: "Commonwealth" by Ann Patchett. I'm glad I didn't read this before I read "Whistler," it covers much of the same ground. Also I noticed she used some of the same things Monica Wood used in some of her books. Maybe great minds think alike? Worth reading though. #booksky 📚🖋️💙

Book #38 of the year: "The French Innkeeper's Daughter" by Diane McPhail. This was a tedious read at times. However, I learned how women were kidnapped and sent to AL, MS, LA to start the new French colonies. I'd never heard about that history before. #booksky

I love watching old TV shows and movies. I'm always impressed with how much coffee they drink, how nice they dress, and how much smoking occurs. How did people get any sleep in the 1950s with all of the coffee & nicotine in their systems?
