BIO
Similar to the land they represent, Team Neopia Central is a melting pot of personalities and play styles. No one member can really be called the focal point, as they are all worthy to be the main attraction. This year may be their grand debut, but don't think of them as just the new kid on the block. Before you know it, this team will be in the middle of everything as if they've been around since the beginning! And they've all got one central idea: to be the very best and take home the gold!

CAPTAIN
Name: Tidye "Coach" Stokes
Species: Vandagyre (Female)

Best of the Best!
For years, scores of Neopia Central-based teams have petitioned for a spot in the Altador Cup, so much so that the Committee has never been able to fully evaluate them all. The amount of requests piled up so high that the Committee discerned that they would never be able to sort through the backlog and fairly give the best team the position, so with this in mind, the Committee wished to right this by allowing a tournament of sorts to take place in the off-season, where any team officially based in Neopia Central could fight for their chance to take the top spot.
The try-outs lasted weeks longer than anticipated as the amount of teams that signed up was unprecedented. Eventually, five teams stood out amongst the crowd, and they were pitted against one another in round-robin scrimmages. The matches went on so long that the Committee had to step in to make the final call. Yet before they could do so, the captains of the competing teams gave a proposition: they requested that each team pick their best member to form a whole new team.

Neopets The Void Within: Ch. 15 While I collaborated on this ch., I mostly worked on the latter part as it was the first ch. I got to be one of the main writers for a short story. We were able to fit in some more details than originally expected and really dive deep into Baelia’s inner emotions.

Neopets The Void Within: Chapter 14 This chapter is definitely up there as one of my favorites to have worked on!! Here’s some of the key parts I wrote for that I can’t stop thinking about! Long live the Queen!

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 14
Drakara can be seen on the balcony of Fyora’s room smiling as she looks down. The giant beast is seen crushing a part of the castle with one hand. Fyora is seen falling from the balcony. She’s half grey and her staff and crown have fallen off her. Tears fall up from her eyes as she falls.
There’s a text box that says:
Long live the Queen.

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 14
Panel 1 - text that says Meanwhile
A mysterious figure can be seen riding the great beast with Ozzy tied up next to her. In the distance is Faerieland Castle
Panel 2 - the Battle Faeire, Aethia, is guarding Fyora’s room as the mysterious figure approaches
Panel 3 - the mysterious figure has taken out many of the faerieland guards and is approaching a fallen Captain Brynneth
Panel 4 - the mysterious figure has entered Fyora’s room and is saying “How nice it is to be back. Hello again, Fifi.”
Panel 5 - Fyora is gripping her staff, the giant beast can be seen out the balcony. And the mysterious figure has removed her hood to reveal she is Drakara as Fyora shouts her name

There are those in this moment that are scared and hurt and they’re still within reach!

The Void Within: Chapter 8 These are some of the main moments from this chapter that I had a hand in writing. There are so many moments in this plot that I absolutely love, and the moments between Luxinia and Baelia in this chapter have got to be at the top of this list!

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 8
First panel - Luxinia and Baelia are nervously looking towards rest of the gang. Styx is sniffing at big footprints that enter the cave that Nyx, Juni, and Tavi are standing in front of. At the top of the cave is white rock that sorta looks like flowers. Tavi is saying “Hmm… the sediment layers do kind of look like white lulus bunched together. I can’t believe we found it!”
Second Panel - darkness follows the gang down the long cave tunnel as Luxinia holds on to Baelia’s arm and Styx and Nyx follow behind Tavi and Juni. Tavi has a lantern and is saying. “It really is like a maze here.”
Third panel - close up of Tavi and she taps in the lantern and says “Oh come on! Not now!”
Fourth panel - the lantern has fully gone out. The only light is now coming from Luxinia as she nervously backs aware from the group towards the way they came. The rest of the group is around the lantern besides Baelia who is looking nervously at Luxinia. Luxinia is saying “We… we should head back.” While Tavi is saying “No it’s okay. If I can’t fix it then you can just-“

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 8
First panel - just Luxinia’s legs can be seen turning and running as the rest of the gang (Baelia, Styx, Nyx, Juni, Tavi) look after her. Baelia and Styx are closest and trying reaching out for her.
Second panel - the light from Luxinia is all that can be seen behind the bend of the tunnel as Baelia and Styx run after her. Juni, Tavi, and Nyx reach out for them.
Tavi is saying “Wait- We shouldn’t”
Panel three - just the eyes of Nyx, Tavi, and Juni can be seen. Tavi is saying “-separate.”

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 8
Panel 1 - Luxinia is running away with her eyes closed. Baelia and Styx are close behind. A close up of Luxinia tripping can be seen.
Panel 2 - Luxinia’s back is turned and she kneels on the ground. Styx is inching closer and Baelia is coming towards them saying “Luxinia…are you okay?”
Panel 3 - a close up of Luxinia’s hands on the ground. Tears are puddling from her crying.
She saying “Please Please just get me out of here!”
Panel 4 - Baelia and Styx have sat down next to Luxinia. Baelia is saying “Okay. But I don’t know where we are. Perhaps if you made some light-“
Luxinia is saying “I can’t!”
Panel 5 - a close up of Luxinia’s eyes as she’s crying. She’s saying “I…I can’t use my magic when I’m this scared.”

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 8
Panel 1 - Baelia and Styx sitting on the ground by Luxinia. Baelia is saying “I don’t understand… what are you scared of?”
Panel 2 - a wide shot of them all deep in the tunnels. Luxinia is saying “…the dark.” Baelia is saying “But you’re a light faerie?”
Panel 3 - a close up of Luxinia holding her head. She is saying “What if it doesn’t work? What if I open my eyes and I’m back there…”
Panel 4 - a depiction of Luxinia once again trapped in crystal like she was in the past. Voice over text from her says “I was in the dark for so long. What if once it comes back it never goes away again… and I’m really just back in there… still trapped… all alone, forever.”

The Void Within: Chapter 7 This is a chapter I was a main writer for and it was incredible to be trusted with Tavi’s backstory, as well as show some of the first hints at the Grey Painter’s hidden emotions.

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 7.
First panel - voice over text box from the character Tavi that says “I used to have some really close friends…”
Under the text is Tavi sitting around a roaring campfire with lots of friends
Second panel - text box that says “But for one reason or another they all left.”
Below is Tavi sitting in front of a smaller fire with only two friends.
Third panel - text box that says “No one ever talks about how hard friend breakups are…”
Below is Tavi sitting alone next to an extinguished fire

A comic from the Neopets The Void Within Chapter 7
First panel - voice over text box from the character Tavi that says “In the world of extreme climbing, having others by your side is pretty much a must.”
Below the text is Tavi with climbing gear at the bottom of a mountain.
Second panel - text box says “But I wasn’t in a good way…”
Tavi is jumping over a giant gap with no gear attached to save her if she falls
Third panel - text box that says “So I was taking risks I definitely shouldn’t have.”
Tavi is climbing up a cliff side. Her gear is not properly attached. The rope is caught in the latch in such a way that it is not secure.
Fourth panel - text box that’s says “…And it ended with me losing even more.”
A shot of just Tavi’s hands and gear falling.

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 7.
First panel - voice over text box from the character Tavi that says “I was told I would never be able to climb again…”
A depiction of Tavi, she is in a hospital bed with lots of bandages and an arm in a sling. Her right foot is gone.”
Second panel - voice text box that says “But I couldn’t lose another thing I loved.”
Tavi doing physical therapy with Nurse Glee.
Third panel - text box that says “Even if I couldn’t let others back in…”
Tavi is looking forlorn as she is walking outside with a cane and the assistance of Nurse Glee who is saying “Isn’t it nice to be back out in nature!”

A comic from Neopets The Void Within Chapter 7.
First panel - voice over text box from the character Tavi that says “I was determined to prove to myself that I would make it through this.”
Tavi is standing in front of a mountain again. She is in her attire we see her in nowadays and has a carved walking stick.”
Second panel - text box “But this time I would go as slow as I needed.”
Tavi is walking up a trail that isn’t very steep. In the foreground a wooden post can be seen that says Snowbunny Trail.

The Void Within: Ch. 3 While the plot’s story was overall a collaborative effort this was the first chapter I was able to be a main writer for. These are just a few of my favorite moments in the chapter. I was so excited to introduce Luxinia as well as further develop Nyx and Juni’s relationship.

A comic page from the Neopets Plot: The Void Within. It is of Luxinia first entering the story. She stands in the middle of a doorway as Tavi looks at her with surprise and Baelia looks uncertain and shy. A text box coming off screen from Queen Fyora says “I called for her for situations just like this one.”

A comic page from the Neopets Plot: The Void Within. It is a full page of a close up of Luxinia’s eye. She is crying as in her eye you can see a representation of the visions she is seeing. Which is that of an earlier comic where Nyx is heartbroken as she thinks her friend Juni has just sacrificed himself to save her.

It is a dialogue scene from the Neopet Plot: The Void Within. The character Dr. Landelbrot is on the right. The character Nyx is on the left and is caring Juni. Nyx is saying “I…I know how it sounds but he’s no ordinary petpet…he was technically ranked above me at Virtupets Delivery Co.”

A comic page from the Neopets Plot: The Void Within. It is a full page comic of Dr. Landelbrot working on the Void Dampener on Nyx’s arm. Nyx is looking up with concern, not taking her eyes off Juni as he lays in a giant machine. Dr. Landelbrot’s Petpet, Scintilly, looks on at the machine as Jerdana casts magic around the machine to help in Juni’s recovery.

2025 Neopets Advent Calendar! These are the comics I wrote the scripts for. While most art during the event is not canon it still hurt to write Orion so sad!! Seeing happier visions of what could have been would wreck anyone 😭

A comic from the 2025 Neopets Advent Calendar.
First panel - shopkeepers from around Neopia are excitedly around the Money Tree which is decorated in lights and has presents all around joy. No grey in sight.
Second panel - the character Jeran and a character only known as Zafara Double Agent are happily sitting next to each other exchanging gifts. In the background is the Meridell castle all lit up in lights
Third panel - the character Vira is in her form before she was transformed, she is happily hanging out with a petpet and has flowers in her hair, like the ones she had with her friends
Panel four - Tavi is sitting around the campfire with her friends
Panel five - the character Nyx is returning home to her younger brother Ozzy who is coloring. She has Juni and Styx with her and lots of presents. She and Juni have no sign of the Void on the them.
Every panel seems to be in wavy almost cloud like boarder.

A comic from the 2025 Neopets Advent Calendar. It is a one page comic of many of the different fairies around Neopia having a winter holiday party.
Siyana, the soup faerie, and Xandra are in the back getting snacks and refreshments.
Nuria and Taelia are talking closely to one another as they sit and drink hot and cold tea in the back.
Kaia and the faerie petpet shopkeeper are sitting together, the shopkeeper is resting on Kaia as Kaia plays a flute.
Jhudora is begrudgingly handing a present to Illusen who looks pleased.
Luxinia and Varia are exchanging presents.
Mira, the space faerie, has her arm over Kari, the negg faerie, as they talk to Orion who looks well rested.
Seraphina and Marina are chatting with Ilere and Delina. Delina is introducing Baelia who is in her light form. She is happy to be there but still looks unsure of herself.
In the back Fyora sits on her throne. The hand of a fire faerie can be seen resting on the throne as well.

Below all of this it is revealed that this all seems to be a dream that Orion is having as the Lyre he’s holding is lit up. Orions closed eyes appear to be glowing too. He is crying while still asleep.

2025 Neopets Altador Cup: The Grey Year. It was shocking for all when the Altador Cup was postponed for a year, but at least the teams got a break. Which allowed us to get to know them all better! Here’s just some small snippets from some of my favorite stories that I wrote for the event.

partner, Wila, nonstop since the moment he joined the team, but as he chatted about their honeymoon and shared dozens of almost identical photos of Wila in different places around Terror Mountain, Tulah's patience grew thinner and thinner.
The molten Acara loved her teammates, but between this, whatever was going on between their two defenders, Zax and Vere, and Captain Alrdic's affectionate stories about his husband Neeraj, Tulah couldn't take much more. She was incredibly happy for them all-heck, she was practically the one who introduced Aldric and Neeraj-but the lovey-dovey mush was getting to be too much.
She knew a lot of it probably stemmed from jealousy. Not of the romance stuff-that sort of thing had never interested her-but more of the old team dynamic. And it wasn't like she'd ever tell the team that; they were allowed to find joy however they'd like. But perhaps she could at least politely excuse herself from this onslaught of Puppyblew love.
As Harlis presented yet another photo of Wila in the Ice Caves, Tulah
slammed her hands on the stone table.

There wasn't a lot to be done once the twins got into one of their moods. Normally, they were of two minds, but when one got upset, the other usually cried alongside her.
This was why Loryche, as captain of the team, usually didn't bring them to practice without the babysitter, but she wasn't left with much of a choice nowadays. The babysitter's family had been affected by the grey curse, and Loryche insisted she go be with them. A choice that she stood by, but still kicked herself for making without much of a backup plan.
Pebpeb and Brambles were crying over a Mutant Yooyu who no longer
wanted to play with them. Loryche couldn't blame the poor thing; they'd been babbling its ear off for the last few hours. She scooped up her younglings and dabbed their tears.
"It's alright. We'll be done here soon, and then we can go home and get some cactus blossoms. How does that sound?" Loryche said, bouncing them up and down as they giggled.
"No!" yelled a Tyraninan Moehog behind Loryche and her girls. "Cap made it to where I would faint left, and then score. You're supposed to be

A small snippet of a story from the 2025 Neopets Altador Cup: The Grey Year.
It says

KRAWK ISLAND
Precious Cargo
"We'll be taking your ship now. Unless you want to risk angering Bluebeard, our mighty captain!" A dishevelled pirate lifted his sword toward Captain Hale, who stood on the deck with his arms crossed-the epitome of an unbothered Bori-even as the assailing crew were preparing to board their team's ship.
A spotted Ogrin laughed nearby and returned to swabbing the deck.
Coco knew the captain was more than qualified to dispose of the inconvenience. This was the umpteenth pirate crew who invoked the name of Bluebeard to sound tougher. Of course, if any of them had actually come across the real Bluebeard, they'd know their crew could never pass as her underlings. For one, they'd be at the bottom of the ocean the moment they bent the knee. But also, her crew was entirely made up of petpets.
The only reason Team Krawk Island lived to tell the tale of their encounter was... well, Coco wasn't really sure why. They'd lost to her, and yet Bluebeard had spared them; shed even been friendly for a moment.
The Ogrin supposed they were lucky to have survived such a stunning

2025 Neopets April Fools. It was fun that year to create more of the “ad” ideas, as well as write conspiracies based off of more recent occurrences around Neopia. The full stories are on the site, but be careful not to go too far down the Cybunny hole. You never know how it’ll affect you!

An image from the 2025 Neopets April Fools event. It is of the character Nick Neopia as he poses in front of a board with papers that have string connecting them. There are decorations around that tie into the Void Within Plot such as a hat that says the Void Within, tea from Tea Time with Tavi, the brush the Grey Painter uses, the lantern Luxinia has, and Void Essences floating around. Above all this are the words Sceptic Tank, The Void Files.

An image from the 2025 Neopets April Fools event. The character Nick Neopia is half purple. There is a portion of a story called Conspiring Monarchs. The portion of copy says -
Ever since the Council Members fled back to their lands, two have caught my eye with their abundantly suspicious activity, above all the other nefarious deeds the rest of them are up to: King Roo and Lord Darigan. Over the period in which I investigated them, it became clear that these two were scheming behind their fellow Council Members' backs. It's not surprising, really; I'm sure we all suspected each and every one of them to be capable of treachery. Yet, I will admit, of them all I was least suspicious of the odd King Roo. His years of tomfoolery and overall clowning must have been a long con ruse that even I overlooked. I humbly admit my mistake, but rest assured that I will not be tricked again! To make up for this slip, I followed them restlessly, tracking their every move, and what I discovered bewildered me!
What first gave me pause was the reports that the two had been seen

This mysterious light faerie came into the spotlight of Neopia very suddenly, and yet also very quietly. Word spread quickly about the last remaining piece of Faerieland in the sky, and how no one but a small few were allowed to visit by order of Queen Fyora. This, of course, reeked of a cover-up! I tried with all my might to find a way to that island but was unsuccessful. I feared I may never get a chance to question this elusive faerie-that was until she came down to Faerieland herself, claiming that the sky was falling! Luxinia had Neopians high and low searching for her precious "crystal shards" and then disappeared. With Queen Fyora by her side at all times, I couldn't risk getting close during her brief visit to the ground, and it was all too sudden for me to attempt another break-in to the sky fortress. I feared I'd never get answers. Until now!
This unusual faerie has once again graced us with her presence, bringing

Some of the non-Orion comics I wrote the scripts for in the 2024 Neopets Advent Calendar. A huge thank you and round of applause to the incredibly talented artists on the team for bringing these scripts to life!!!

A comic from the 2024 Neopets Advent Calendar.
Panel one - Team Moltara’s captain Aldric Beign, is bringing his husband, Neeraj, a cup of coffee out on the snow. Neeraj his holding his face with one hand. Since Aldric is a Magma Kougra and Neeraj is a Water Zafara, there is steam coming from where they are touching.
Panel two - Team Shenkuu’s captain Mirsha Grelinek is sitting on the couch and sharing a blanket with her girlfriend Ginia. Mirsha is lovingly looking at Ginia as she excitedly points to the tv in front of them that has a show with a Kougra dressed as warrior princess on it.
Panel three - Hanso and Brynn are standing back to back with Shades all around them and their weapons drawn. Hanso looks nonchalant like he’s cracking a joke while Brynn is trying to stay focused, but has a slight smile and is rolling her eyes at him.
Panel four - Hannah and Kanrik are skiing down a mountain together holding hands. Kanrik is holding a big bag while Hannah holds some sort of artifact. They are both looking back as if they have just gotten away with something.
Panel five - Tormund (who is grey) is sitting in the castle looking out the window out at the stars. The candles in front of him merge with the fire that Roberta is sitting in front of as she is out in the snowy forest, looking up at the stars as she holds the letter he wrote to her.
Panel six - Jazan and Nabile are in the window of the Council Room. Holding each other as the worriedly lookout.

A comic from the 2024 Advent Calendar.
It is all one page. Team Tyrannia’s Willa Benne and Team Moltara’s Harlis Neyhbol are in the middle getting married. Willa is in a beautiful white and orange wedding dress, while Harlis is in a black tux with the sleeves ripped off. Their two Gruseln petpets are at their feet. On Harlis’s side stands Aldric Beign and Zax Bannet. On Willow’s side stands Loryche and Scrap Taggert. In the pews the Techo Fanatic character can be seen cheering. There is snow and building that looks like they are from Altador in the background. And above everything are Fire Yoouyballs lighting up everything.

A comic from the 2024 Neopets Advent Calendar.
First panel - a banner that says Adoption Day hangs over many Pepets as all different kinds of Neopets look around the shop. A few cat like Petpets called Gathows are in the back. Most are young but there’s a noticeably older one in the middle.
Second panel - the elderly Gathow watches as all the young ones get adopted
Third panel - the elderly Gathow sits cowering alone as a shadow appears over her.
Fourth panel - a young kid with stars in his eyes points at the elderly Gathow as his parents smile behind him.
Fifth panel - the kid and his two dads are now back at their house with winter holiday decor all around them. Presents are being opened as the elderly Gathow happily lays by the fire while the kid who adopted her joyfully pets her

The 2024 Neopets Advent Calendar! It was really great to finally put all the pieces from past events together and showcase a pivotal part of Orion’s storyline! There’s still some exciting unanswered questions though. Like who is that blue Draik in the tablet and what are they doing with a Lyre???

A comic from the 2024 Neopets Advent Calendar.
First panel - Orion trekking through a snowy, mountain terrain. A box of text says “It was a few and far between. But Seshatia found odd references to music in many old stories. One stuck out though.”
Second panel - a close up of Orion in winter attire with a lamp to light his way in the snow storm. A box of text says “A story about an ancient structure behind the mountains. A place that cursed those who visited to sing uncontrollably for days.”
Third panel - Orion finds a circle of large rocks that appeared man made. A box of text says “I swear I’d searched everywhere and was on the verge of giving up… but at the eye of a never-ending storm… I found it!”
Fourth panel - Orion approaches one the rock formations. A box of text says “It didn’t seem like much at first.”
Fifth panel - Orion wipes away snow on the formation to see a musical cylinder incased in ice in the middle. A box of text says “Yet, after close inspection…l
Sixth panel - the musical cylinder begins to glow making a water like pattern in the rock formation. Orion is stepping back in surprise. A box of text says “…I knew I was in the right place.”

A comic from the 2024 Neopets Advent Calendar.
First and second panel - a close up of past musical cylinders Orion found. He puts them in the large rock formations around him.
A box of text says “I always suspected the musical cylinders played a key role in unlocking the truth behind the lyre.”
Third, second, and fourth panel - the musical cylinders light up the rock formations with colors corresponding the elements they look like. Left is showing fire, middle is showing air, right is showing earth.
Last panel - a wide shot of Orion standing in the middle of the rock formations as the colors in the rock formation being to swirl around him. The swirl seems to form a musical note. A box text says “But I never would have guessed they were actual keys!”

A comic from the 2024 Neopets Advent Calendar.
First panel - Orion looking shocked as the rock formations around him are swirling with color. A text box says “I didn’t know what to expect…”
Second panel - a close up of Orion legs as they shake and the word Rumble is next to them.
Third panel - a box with blue strips on it rises from the ground behind Orion.
Fourth panel - Orion is reaching for the handle of the box. A text box says “But after everything that has happened…”
Fifth panel - Orion is shocked as he opens the chest an a stone table that was in it falls and shatters. A text box says “I thought I was ready for anything.”
Sixth panel - Orion sitting down dejectedly as he sadly stares at one of the broken tablet pieces. A text box says “Except that I was too late.”

A comic from the 2024 Neopets Advent Calendar.
First panel - Orion is in Reina’s workshop and is starring sadly at a broken stone tablet. Blue text boxes with music notes around they say “Oh sweet Orion of the stars. Thank you for coming this far.”
Second panel - Orion’s Lyre beings to glow blue and the blue is connecting with the broken tablet pieces. The same text boxes say “But I fear you cannot yet have closure. As this particular part is not over.”
Third panel - Orion and the broken tablet pieces are being lifted into the air by the blue light coming out of the lyre. Same text box says “My very being has been shattered.”
Fourth panel - Orion being surround by the blue glowing broken tablet pieces. One of his eyes is now also glowing blue. Same text box says “So now those who have been scattered”
Fifth panel - a single piece of the broken tablet. Same text box says “must find a way to come together.”

2024 Neopets Faerie Festival! This event was a very fun one to work on. There were hints to Jhudora and Illusen’s past, Seshstia got to show off her awesome powers, and possessed Orion made his first appearance! It seems whatever is in that Lyre is growing stronger and stronger. 🎶💙

2024 Neopets Altador Cup! While sports writing may not be my forte I had a lot of fun adding new lore to these teams. Lore that would grow in coming Altador Cups! Orion made another fateful return as a crowd as big as the Altador Cup was just too much for that Lyre to resist!

An image from the 2024 Neopets Altador Cup in which the characters Tobias Sigmir and Hovri Sweet are sitting in a broadcasting room with an image of a silhouetted figure (that looks like Orion) with the words Mysterious Neopian Spotted on it

An image from the 2024 Neopets Altador Cup. It is of the Press Tour for Team Tyrannia and their Captain, Loryche is on the left. The Press Tours says:
An Exciting Suprise!
While last year was their third time in a row coming in 9th, this team is not deterred by their past! During training this year, Team Tyrannia reconnected with their old goalkeeper, Harlis Neyhbol, when he swung by to drop off the team's Gruslens at the request of his partner, Wila Benne, the team's left forward. While there Benne informed him that the reason she had asked for him to come, was she wanted to be surrounded by her family for a very special occasion and proposed to him! Their wedding is set for after this year's Altador Cup and they've joked that if either one of their teams wins they will get married then and there to be able to celebrate with all their fans! With the exciting news pumping them up, Team Tyrannia is ready to shake up this year's competition and break through to first place for their fans and for Benne and Neybol's exciting next steps!

An image from the 2024 Neopets Altador Cup. It is of the Press Tour for Team Moltara and their Captain, Aldric Beign, is on the left. The Press Tours says:
A Party to be Remembered!
Coming in hot at sixth place last year, Team Moltara is burning with passion and joy for a multitude of reasons. Their goalkeeper, Harlis Neyhbol, became engaged to his partner Wila Benne, who is on Team Tyrannia. To celebrate this, Captain Aldric Beign hosted the engagement party at his house as an opportunity for the two teams to come together. It was a beautiful party that was held in the backyard where Beign's husband had prepared their garden with a mix of flowers in the two teams' colours. While the teams had gotten to know each other slightly over the years from trades and Neyhbol and Benne's relationship, they had never been too close. However, the air was full of joy during the party, and all who attended could feel the bond between the teams become closer in a matter of hours! The shared comradery helped get Team Moltara excited to train as hard as possible, so they returned to their lava training field. Training there last year helped them move up six whole spots in the ranking, so if the pattern holds true again, they will surely be taking home the first place trophy!

An image from the 2024 Neopets Altador Cup. It is of the Press Tour for Team Krawk Island and their Captain, Garven Hale, is on the left. The Press Tours says:
This Flag Means Fun!
This team came in low last year, but they are aiming higher than ever now! They once again boarded their ship for tough training on the open seas. On their journeys, they met many interesting individuals but none more intriguing than Captain Bluebeard! She's the captain of a ship entirely made up of petpets that attacked them out of the blue. Since her second-in-command was a Maraquan Yooyu, she decided to spare them, and instead soon asked to spar with them!
Team Krawk Island treated them to an intense game of Yooyuball where Bluebeard herself took the winning score! While together the team's Centre Defender, Coco Metrone, and Captain Bluebeard grew close to one another.
When the crews finally had to part ways, Bluebeard promised that she would come to cheer them on once the games began! Knowing they will have such a powerful fan in the crowd has got the whole team excited, and they can't wait to show off all they learned in this year's competition!

The 2024 Neopets Festival of Neggs! It was an interesting challenge to write for this bright and colourful event while keeping in mind the dreary undertones from Kari being affected by the Grey Curse. But I got to bring back Orion and create another Petpet so I’m not complaining!!

The Neopets character Kari the Negg Faerie. Around her are the words Welcome Back! Festival of Neggs. This is from the 2024 annual event

From the 2024 Neopets Festival of Neggs. It is a pop up showcasing the Petpet Tuffala with text that says “You enter a small, newly formed crevasse at the base of the building, and find a sort of cave at the bottom. It seems like this cavern must have been sealed up before the crack formed. Inside you discover a rather large petpet asleep by the flowing lava. Better bring it back to Orion to see if this has anything to do with his vision!”

The Neopets 2023 Advent Calendar was the first appearance of disheveled Orion and that mysterious lyre! Pictured here are some of my favorite comics that I wrote the scripts for that year!!

An image announcing the 2023 Neopets Advent Calendar

A comic from the 2023 Neopets Advent Calendar that depicts a kid Lenny being instructed by a teacher to make a present for his parents. The Lenny is then unsure what to do with a block of clay in front of him. In the next panel the Lenny is walking with a wrapped present passing by images of the family, however as the pictures progress the parents disappear and only the Lenny and his brother are in them. In the next two panels the big brother is surprised to be given a gift which he opens to reveal a clay cup that’s says #1 brother on it.

A comic from the 2023 Neopets Advent Calendar that depicts many different kinds of families as the kids in the family give them gifts. In the top left corner there is a single parent being gifted a shirt that say Best Parent Ever but misspelt as it is clearly written by their child. In the top right corner there are two moms being gifted a drawing of them with their kid in the middle. In the bottom left corner there is a mom and a dad being gifted a hand made card, the child is sitting in the dad’s lap as he is in a wheelchair. In the bottom right corner there are two dads being gifted origami versions of themselves as the child signs “I folded them myself.” Lastly in a circle in the middle of the page is there is the Neopets character Little Timmy gifting handmade plates to his grandparents, one plate says Worlds Best while the other says GrandParents

A comic from the 2023 Neopets Advent Calendar. The first panel has a calendar that says Month of Eating on it while a soaked Korbat asks the Shop Wizard “Where can I buy a good priced umbrella.”
The second panel has a page from the calendar on it that says Month of Relaxing on it while a Grundo holding a surf board with a bite taken out of it is standing in front of a slightly tired looking Shop Wizard who is saying “Alakazam! I found you a great list of places to buy a new surfboard.”
The third panel has a page from the calendar on it that says Month of Collecting on it while a Chia that is holding a list and pointing to their shoe says “Thanks for this list! But… where can I find good snow shoes” to a very tired looking Shop Wizard.
The last two panels depict the Shop Wizard going outside when it is snowing to see a bunch of presents left for him with a sign that says Thank you for all your hard work on it as the three characters from before hide in the background.

Almost all of this book has turned grey. Bits and pieces of it seem to have the book's original colour, but even as you hold it the grey is ever so slowly creeping away at it, making it difficult to read most of the words printed on it.
You want a scary story? I'll give you one.
There once was a beautiful Acara. She was graceful, charming, and, of course, humble. When others looked upon her, they would shower her with admiration.
"You're more beautiful than any flower l've ever seen."
"You shine brighter than any star in the sky."
"I would do anything for you."

I've been told to write about a friend. It can be anything I want: a true story about us or one where we interact in a fictional setting...but i don't know if I can do either. I don't have many friends here. Most of the other students seem to avoid me because I don't do so well in school. The 2023 Festival of Neggs is where I got to not only ideate my first Petpet, the Bython, but also create my first Neopets original character, Orion!!! The sweet star child has no clue what’s about to happen to him here 🥺 but for those who paid close attention there were signs of things to come!

Characters talking in the 2023 Neopets Festival of Neggs. Mira, the Space Faerie is on the right. Orion is on the left and he is saying “I don’t have the answers. But the cards tell me you do! Characters talking in the 2023 Neopets Festival of Neggs. Kari, the Negg Faerie, is on the left. Dr. Landelbrot is in the right and is saying “This is incredible. Just think about what this could mean for the discoveries of modern-day Neopia? Did these Petpets come from Neopia and adapt to space or the other way around? What would that mean about Neopia's natural Petpets? We have so much to learn from them!”

The 2023 April Fools event on Neopets Sceptic Tank was a lot of fun to work on. I got featured in the “ads” Nick Neopia was spreading around the site and I was even able to write a few of the conspiracies for him 😜 They’re still up and reading them may even grant you a fun prize on the site!

An image from the 2023 April Fools event “Sceptic Tank” on Neopets.com. It is that of a cartoon rock with text around it that says Is TNT Stone actually just a rock?!

Images says “For years now Faeries of all kinds have asked Neopians for random item after random item even though one would think a magical being with wings could get these things for themselves with ease! But no, they come and demand things from the busy, hardworking Neopets of the world with the promises of gifts in return, and sure a dunk in the rainbow pool is a pretty cool reward, but do you know what’s even cooler? The truth! The faeries have been hired by TNT to keep us Neopians too busy running around Neopia looking for “the right shoe of a left-handed Skarl” or whatever wild item they can think of, so you don’t have time to question the bigger picture!
Wake up Neopians! It is time to see the faeries for what they are - pawns in the bigger game that TNT calls life! They are just using them to lure you in with a false sense of fun and then bam you’re stuck with an award from the Air Faerie... That is how it works still, right? The faeries kind of stopped coming to me with request after what they said was the “umpteenth time I ‘invaded’ their ‘personal space’ in order to ‘bombard them with questions’”, but we all know that’s just code for I was getting too close to the truth! So, l say it’s time we band together and outright refuse to participate in their manipulative tactics to distract until they tell us the truth about TNT...or at the very least let me participate again, you know so I can get to the truth for us all!

The Lost Fragments event in 2023 was one of the first times I had a hand in designing an event as well as writing for it. While a smaller one off event, it brought Luxinia and her storyline fully into the lore of Neopets!

An image of two characters from Neopets. On the right is Fyora, the Faerie Queen. On the left is the light faerie Luxinia, she is saying “Be sure to keep an eye out for shards of New Faerieland soil! The recently fallen pieces have a bit of a gleam to them, so they should be easy to spot. The more you bring me, the more wonderful prizes you can earn!”
