I've been working my way through the entire Mobile Suit Gundam franchise and while I'm still quite a few series behind @madclops.bsky.social the jokes were easy.

I think some games do a really good job of side-quests being engaging and unlocking cool things that you could also do without if you skipped, but as someone that really needs to finish every quest in the game, I'd agree most games are just tedious about it.

That being said, my comic pull box is enormous and I have made no progress in culling that at all.

I'm finally canceling my Final Fantasy 14 subscription after being a regular player for 8 years. The game is great, but also I feel like a burden has been lifted. When did every game become designed to be chores?

My problem is that I full cleared once and then immediately lost all motivation to keep playing

I definitely thought this series was well-loved. What a happy reprieve in my X-Men read.

alternate timeline where instead of reading to children on 9/11, george bush was in the middle of filming hot ones

that famous image of george bush receiving the news about 9/11 but he's sitting at the hot ones table with some sauce on his mouth

Yeah, I thought it felt like a Mystique story from a decade ago, which is not a good thing.

What did you think about it? I have some mixed feelings.

Playing Yakuza games forced me to learn a lot about Hanafuda, and it's such a cool concept! It's just as fun to look at the cards as it is to play the game.
