@labour4transrights.bsky.social - with what the Labour government are doing, appears to be an oxymoron.

MadBeardMan @madbeardman.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Good news is always welcome, sadly it's in short-supply.

Thanks for this, and blocked, I think the bot is scanning you as I only got the invite after I saw this.

I have to do Japan one day, first re-fill the coffers after such an expensive year of doing stuff on the house, 2027 is doing stuff for me (and the family).

Nearly all handouts are done for my Hellboy game at #Furnace next weekend. Some things, like this B.P.R.D. letterhead, have taken far longer than I wanted, but it's done now, and of course, I now have a dozen more ideas for a follow-up to my adventure, The Church of St Anne, but all done (bar 1).

MadBeardMan @madbeardman.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I would ask you to include ALT with ALL images, please include all of us.

Finished work for the week, a day late. Phew. Handouts for next weekend this weekend.

MadBeardMan @madbeardman.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

A crap week at work, and working tomorrow on my NWD again. Feels like I'm fighting uphill again, but green shoots today so next week should be better. Just remember, all of you are ace, ignore anyone who tells you otherwise.

My youngest wants fear, action, Missy back, Song back, more Cybermen, and not 'a caring family' - she felt Jodie's series didn't have fun aspect of the male doctors.

021

I'm not sure any of us are the right material for this, but if I must....

130

Either for me thanks, not sure what Candied Bacon is though!

100

Went for a walk around Ladybower during last years drought, and was interesting to see a few roofs poking through the water. Amazing really, history showing.

011

That is where my 'tism powered brain goes as well.

Zero Dark Thirty Kathryn Bigelow

Yea, also - now we can see the entire dungeon, let's go that way.

Vicar 'saddened' after Sheffield church's Pride flag removed

Not often I say anything much about Religion, it's not for me, but this, why would people do this? Broomhill is about 0.75 miles from me here, I may go and see them next week and give my support (and help) to replace it. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

The vicar of St Mark's Church in Sheffield says it is not the first time such items have been taken.

Really looking forward to playing in one of your games at Furnace, so sending lots of positive waves.

Erik from Wargames Emporium works for us these days - I speak to him from time to time.

Sheffield, South Yorkshire. There are a few clubs, but they focus mostly on AoS and 40k.

Let's hope it's not worse than the last trilogy, the bar is low, but no Status Quo thanks.

120

And the Batmite - I hope it shuts up later in the game, when you have bought everything, sounds like Jack Black but isn't. Grinds me more than my youngest.

I was working Fairford during the original Desert Storm campaign. I've never heard such a loud rumble as when the US Bombers would land, refuel, then rearm, and then take off to bomb Iraq.

230

Yeah, that's the one, it's on the TV right now. Now she's doing a mop-up of earlier zones. She's poorly and this is how she gets herself better. Plus, I've never seen a Pink Batmobile!

Would be helpful if I mentioned the game eh? Batman: Legacy of the Bat. FFS brain, what's wrong with you.

000

@kevedwardsretro.bsky.social - I assume you still speak to some folk at the TT Games studio. Just pass on that my 19-year-old thinks the game is peak, and is really enjoying it on her Switch 2 and says it's the best game she's played this year. That's a great and rare accolade!

220

It wants you to follow of course, and take that to the counter and buy it.

I've gotta get to another MORPCon, as usual, I find out too late, but still I'll try harder. Hope you have a great session!

We have relied on Root far too much over the last decade, and I feel that people think he should always be at the top of his game. But we do have a few others on their day, Buttler, Brook in this format have been just as good.

Yes, probably tired and wanting a break, or just having a bad day at the office kind of thing.

120

I've always got a bit of time for the Undead. I wanna get back into a bit of wargaming, but none of my previous chums who did, still do :(

Feels like a really good game, but as usual, we won't know until both teams have had a go. But in the BBC commentary, all the people having a go at Root, sigh.

I used loaded every now and again, normally for post-release offers, but on the time I've bought a reorder, the key arrived which I then entered in Xbox live, I still got pre-order content as I bought the Xbox pre-order I think. I only use them for Xbox games, so can't comment on PC/PS5.

Too young. This is the horrible part of life, people passing. I'll get PGR out and have a play.

000

I may need the same very soon, not looking forward to it, as I've not worn a suit, this century and a shirt and tie within the last 25 years.

000

Good luck, when I have ECG's due to my anxiety in Hospitals, I have to wait for ages to get re-checked as they think my anxiety will go down, it never does.

Heads-up for fellow CRPG dungeon crawler fans as one to avoid: this one is made by ban-evading neo-nazis.

And here's me not wanting to break my Kickstarter (and other) ban, but oh my.... need to save some pennies me thinks.

Anyone who wants to wargame with late Feudal Japan and all those lovely Samurai and bows and Katana, then this is your fix, and it's free in PDF form.

If you are attending KamCon and are playing in this, I am jealous of you. Enjoy though, and really enjoy.

You folks really don't know how much I am looking forward to this game. It can't come soon enough, but I can wait until you folks release it, because I know you release things when they're ready.

I don't like solo gaming, apart from on Video games.

I need to be stronger. Horror on the Orient Express boardgame has arrived. We no longer play boardgames at home because my kids have out grown them and the missus only played because they did. It looks amazing, but doubt I'll ever play :(

Though you are also a few quid up, I've backed too many KS's this year, I was trying not to. That's my inconsistency.

100

Lucky me that I backed the KS and it all arrived.
