Have to say Gary that thanks to your previous recommendation of this stuff I rescued my wall from peeling and bubbling despite using little greene intelligent paint. Gave it a good wire brushing and peel stop then b-i-n just to make sure. Now flat as a pancake! Thank you :)

I do like how it's perfectly acceptable to fall off the second and third floors but not, apparently, the roof.
Shell of building that has progressed not an inch in six months with a scaffolding barrier erected around the top but not the second or third storeys.

This is completely insane and we want to build more of the things? I wonder how long it takes to decommission a wind turbine? Not 150 years I'm betting. Full article: www.theguardian.com/environment/...
Grauniad article from 7/10/25:
Sellafield, Europe’s largest nuclear site, looms large in Whitehaven at the centre of Britain’s “nuclear coast”. While it has not generated energy since 2003, decommissioning is expected to take until at least 2125. Between Sellafield Ltd and its wider supply chain, the site employs about 60,000 workers, more than 80% from Cumbria.

Nice job! Also snap (literally)! These busted today too but I used the time-honoured sticky tape method and had to rely on my training of being an actual fucking optician 😂

I've had to revive a fair few this year. Golden syrup mixed with a drop of water has worked for most of them. Good luck :)

Had to revive quite a few of these in the last couple of days, I'm assuming the sudden cooler nights have caught them out. 1 part golden syrup to 1 part water in a shallow saucer seems to do the trick.
