#katober2026 - Teleport. There is only one character that was created in the Nightshift verse that could teleport. Dominique, was created around the same time as Cage. But that plot will probably never show in the comic. He was determined to nab a blood born vampire's soul for his own powers.

Sketch of a demon character pulling another vampire character thru a portal and into hell.... where the demon plans to devour his soul.

#katober2026 Here we go Katober! I'm gonna do my best to keep up with this. I spent WAY to much time on this, but it was worth it. This is Cage and Cro based in the Nightshift world and the moment that Cronus finds Cage posing as a Servant at one of the gala's his dad forces Cro to participate in.

Two Kat Feline characters. One is dressed at a server and the other is dressed in a business suit.

Being a telemarketer sucks ass (tried it myself once - never again!); but just because I know the pain does not mean I'm obligated to show any sympathy to them when they refuse to stop calling (one had the audacity to get llippy with me when I told them to remove my number from their call list).

Odd exchange then other day. My bf and I arrived home and our upstairs neighbor and his gf were outside having a smoke. Dude starts apologizing to me for his state of dress before turning his attention to my boyfriend about the fire alarm going off so often (he blames dust - BS, he smokes upstairs).

Practicing my social skills on the robo-telemarketers who have been calling over the last two hours. I don't think it's going well - I'm either ignored or hung up on. Next call, I'm going full Karen and demanding to speak to their manager.

Just found out that Thor - the sweet natured Bengal cat that used to trot over for treats and pets - died a few days ago. Poor thing was struck by a car (his owners deny this - but guaranteed that's due to concerned neighbors repeatedly warning them about letting Thor wander freely). RIP, Thor.

Peeked on that weird account to see if they faved more scraps - they did. Account now has over 150 pages of faved images (and climbing). Roughly 80 images per page. That's 12000+ faved images; over the course of 4 days. Can't convince me that isn't a bot data scraping.

131

MadameFluffy @madamefluffy.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

So, according to FA - an account that is 20 years old, has a single follower that was banned for AI scamming, follows only 2 accounts, faves 97 images from a single account (mine) in less than 30 minutes and more than half of those images are the same three images isn't suspicious at all. Yeah, 'k🤦‍♀️

MadameFluffy @madamefluffy.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Weird shit of the evening - some random account on Furaffinity faved almost 100 of my submissions. Normally wouldn't phase me - except they were all faved within 30 minutes and a vast majority of the faves are of the same three images I use when opening for commissions. Reeks of bot.

This is a non smoking building. Our upstairs neighbor - a smoker - knows this. He used to smoke outside - but he's gotten lazy and smokes in his apartment with his windows open in a weak attempt to ventilate (guess what? It doesn't work). Dude is going to get himself evicted if he keeps this up.

Speaking from personal experience: Artists are human beings, and the majority of us have a strict set of boundaries/rules put in place for our own well being that needs to be respected. If you're the kind of fan who frequently violates those boundaries, you're not a fan - you're a creep.

Your bad art is better than AI slop.

four frame comic. first frame shows a typical AI poster that says : All chatgpt flyers look the same, especially with this font! the text above it reads : I won't go to your event if the poster was made by AI. second frame shows a still frame from a Hank Green youtube video. text above reads : I won't read your post or email and I won't watch your video if they were made with AI. third frame shows an AI restaurant poster of burgers and chicken in a window. text reads : I won't patronize your shop or restaurant if it is advertised with AI. last frame shows an MS paint window with badly written : Your bad art is better than AI slop. text reads : if you can't take the time or make the effort to interact with me yourself, then why should I do it?

One of my pet peeves are people applying their own head canons/ideas to something I created (all the more annoying when what I created was commissioned by someone). Unless you're paying for it, I'm uninterested in hearing how you think an idea should progress/what the story behind the work is.
