Russia’s Peace Proposal = Capitulation... At Turkey peace talks, Russia demanded Ukraine withdraw all troops from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson & Zaporizhzhia—only then would Russia agree to a ceasefire. Ukraine still controls parts of these. A non-starter.

There are some terrible scenes coming out of Syria at the moment. HTS carrying out reprisal executions against allawite civilians including children. Grim watching. It's clear the honeymoon period is over and the challenge in managing the deep rooted sectarian hatred within HTS will continue.
