Signal is bad, not sure if we can watch #Svengoolie. Question: Our TV is very old; will a newer TV improve the signal? Thing is, the whole rest of our apartment building is between us and the tower, which is prob about 30 miles away, so not sure what can help. Can't put an antenna outside.

Son of Frankenstein is a great movie, but we've seen it enough so we'll do our own thing tonight. Won't be joining next week either because I dislike slashers, and even with MeTV censorship I'd rather not show it to my daughter. So we'll probably be back for #Svengoolie in two weeks.

Fun fact about H.G. Wells and War of the Worlds. Wells was opposed to British imperialism abroad. He wrote War of the Worlds as a critique of imperialism, in hopes that readers would reflect on how colonization and subjugation would feel to them. A message still needed today. #Svengoolie
