How quickly did Siri rip it apart. I don’t mind turkey vultures too much, they tend to stick to carrion, but black vultures (at least where I am) are destructive. If there’s no carrion for them to go after, they like weather stripping around car windows, windshield wipers, etc.

But every endurance athlete should be allowed a number of minutes to change and use the bathroom during a competition without penalty, because finishing a competition like that is unhygienic and bad for every competitors health, especially the person who ends up incontinent.

Bowel incontinence is common in endurance athletes, so shaming her for it is bad form. If it doesn’t happen during a race, it will happen after. What needs to be done is breaks and changing stations between stages, and to allow time for every competing athlete to change and clean without penalty.

She could have made the choice to go home BEFORE going to the quarantine facility. Once entering the quarantine facility, I would think it rather stupid to leave before the 10 days. Plus it gives the CDC a better chance to study the virus and understand it.
