Who shot the cheetah kittens? I remember having this thought fifteen years ago when visiting the Field Museum. I understood the rationale for taking specimens for science, but still—look at those little faces. Who could make specimens of them? Turns out there's an answer. (CW: animal death) 🧵🧪
