I see a recurring trend of cooks trying to “innovate” Chinese food via peking duck or noodles and they make it super expensive and of course most Chinese people won’t eat it. Idk noodles and peking duck has been perfected.

Aside from the scalper stuff, there’s something so monetary on Pokemon cards in which I keep seeing people trading/selling slabs of graded cards that costs thousands and tens of thousands of dollars. I know collecting costs money but this feels more like investing.

I guess streaming has become paradoxical in which the more it increase their prices, the more people will drop it and then only subscribe again once there’s enough new stuff to watch. But streaming relies on views probably the first couple of months of release.
