went to baltimore comic con and looked kinda like this. I had to get directions from very nice strangers multiple times and looked inexorably lost the entire time. just as an inherent state of being. had fun though!

i repeated myself a bit there but. it really hits on my major artistic passions (games and animation) and i feel like people just don't consider these invisible elements of production. they only act up when they're treated like how other people ALREADY HAVE.

i remember when you first said you didn't like wolf children and at the time i'd seen it and really liked it but. i fear my love of werewolf and whimsy blinded me to the obvious "THE DAUGHTER SHOULD HAVE BEEN WOLF CRAZY STYLE TOO" truth

yknow I've never tried entering a zine personally BUT I actually spent the ending quarter of a college class studying zines and their history - seeing some of the old sci-fi zines makes overly commercial/polished zines feel a bit ??? to me? i feel like zines have always inherently been-

probably going to start curating my feeds more, making them more art-focused.

most of the art trouble is health-related for sure, and I shouldn't blame myself really, but I do know part of it has been a conscious choice with no clear explanation. I've definitely dug part of this hole myself.

I've been having a lot of difficulty making art for the past few years and I think, if I'm not gonna have much output for the time being, I think at least I can try and spend some time giving love to my fellow artists. So I'm going to be making a greater effort at specifically commenting on art.

probably not quite what you intended but this piece kinda reminds me of that black paper you can scratch into to reveal a rainbow behind... the sketchy/rough texture of this piece kinda feeds into that for me, heh. either way i quite like this piece!! i like the standalone stuff you do here :>

ALSO WAIT- bringing up ttrpgs here is insane. ttrpgs are almost ENTIRELY about expressing humanity. the act of designing a ttrpg is an exercise in directing human behavior during play to allow for player expression. you need to understand humans and human behavior to do that??
