I've updated the feed to try to remove people trying to sell something. Looks like people are trying to find a free way to advertise. 🤷‍♀️ If you are looking to buy things, you probably know how to use Google. 🙃

I can’t find the post where someone from the Blue Sky team posted this, but it’s a must-view when you have 30 minute or so. It’s a great orientation to the platform, its history, and how to customize your experience. Enjoy. youtu.be/YwCpGaFG1f4?...

This is crazy. I can’t see how they could end no-fault divorce, but there are a lot of terrifying things that seem possible right now.

This is Lucas. He has never worked a day in his life, but is taking a much needed vacation. 14/10

a brown dog wearing sunglasses reclines on a plush hotel bed with a towel over his legs and another wrapped around his shoulders. he has a TV remote under his right paw, and he’s looking over the rims of his sunglasses at you like he simply cannot be bothered.

lucas sits in a booth on a rooftop deck with his front paws resting on the edge of a table. he’s wearing his signature sunglasses and a dapper cable-knit sweater with the sleeves cuffed up. there’s a tall mojito sitting on the table before him.

lucas sits on the plush white duvet of a hotel bed with a tray from room service in front of him. he has a short stack of pancakes, a bowl of berries, tea, coffee, croissants, and a variety of jams. the TV is off, and his expression suggests he’d like you to remedy that.

lucas’ little shower-capped head pokes up from within a wood-sided bathtub with a towel draped over the ledge. a bottle of wine chills in an ice bucket on an adjacent table; a glass of amber-colored liquid is only partially full next to it.

Please do another live-stream. The one you did last Friday was so insightful. I wanted to share it with friends, but it looks like it was not recorded. Please. :)

Great feature! You can also block whole lists of right wing accounts. I have a few posted on my profile. Nice to block them proactively.

📢 1.94 is rolling out now (3/5) Some people have been using an import tool to bring over their old posts from other social networks. To avoid confusion caused by old timestamps, we’ve added a new visual tag to imported posts.

A screenshot of a bluesky post by Durial321. The post says “Dw guys, I just checked and Falador is safe, no need to bank your items.” The post has a notice that says “Archived from 5 June 2006 at 19:44”. The post date is “11 November 2024 at 20:46”

A screenshot of the UI which shows if you press the archival notice. “Archived post. This post claims to have been created at 5 June 2006 at 19:44, but was first seen by Bluesky at 11 November 2024 at 20:46. Bluesky cannot confirm the authenticity of the claimed date. Okay”

There are moderation lists that you can add to block these people en masse. I posted tow on my profile when I learned about them. I’m also blocking a lot of political content completely at the moment, but I understand you need to be able to see all of that.

These journalists should update their handles to the verified domains of their news organizations. I understand this is a new world, but I’m sure pretty soon a bad actor will create a similar profile to confuse people Sadly, I think that’s where we are now.

I created a feed to return English Toy Spaniels photos and posts. So far, there is only one post in the last 7 days. As more people come to BlueSky, there will be more posts. :) It doesn't return for "King Charles Spaniel" yet because I'm not sure how to exclude Cavaliers. bsky.app/profile/did:...

For my friends who love Cavaliers, I created a Cavalier feed. If you go to "Feeds" and "Discover New Feeds", type in "CavalierSky" to follow a feed of Cavalier posts. Enjoy!
