I went to a discussion group today about Neurodiversity and Polyamory, and it was 5 AuDHD guys and me (a neurotypical gal who seems to only date ND guys), and tho it was a great discussion overall, for about 20 minutes of the hour they talked about synthesizers... 😐

The first wing of my experimental Rosy Maple Moth cardigan is knit! Going to make a second one (but mirrored) for the other wing. If I'm completely sick of it, I'll knit up a body, seam them, and make it into an awesome shawl. If not, I'll make 2 more and seam the tops to make a cardigan. 🩷🦋💛

He thought I was going to say something physical about dad-bods or how hot age gaps are or some shit, but NOPE, it was all in how they treated and cared for the women around them. I didn't see that in ANY of the men in my day-to-day life; it was basically a fantasy for TV and film, and it was HOT. 😍

I was actually thinking about knitting it sideways, which seemed easier and with less colors at once. And the triangle part would be knitted separately, then picked up as you go or seamed together after.

I've been super impressed with people who are making the fox cardigan from Project Hail Mary as their very first knitting project. It's making me wonder if people will learn to knit and knit things that are somewhat complicated if the pattern is written straightforward enough 😅

If you were to create a knitting pattern for a LGBTQ fundraiser (think Melt the ICE hats) does the pattern have to be super simple? This is strictly for hypothetical/ fictional purposes, but I'm going to design the actual pattern either way. I wanted to make this, but it's a sweater, too complex? 🤔

There's a new pirate themed knitting pattern kit coming from Pacific Knit Co this June! I can't help but think 1) they chose Pride month for a reason and 2) all of these patterns can be altered into OFMD designs. 🏴‍☠️🏳️‍🌈😍
