PS Waverley spent last night alongside in Ipswich. She sails very shortly and should exit the River Orwell by Shotley at approximately 1100. Waverley will then sail past Harwich Quay before making a majestic turn, followed by a close pass of Ha'Penny Pier at approximately 1115 1/2

One fantastic milestone in 2025 was our Ofcom licence, this had been an idea for a decade or longer. Another positive in 2025, apart from the fantastic music, was the continuing project to return the fire-damaged sections of the ship to a usable space. It is hoped to conclude this during 2026. 3/4

We were back on 1575khz about 45 mins after the above notice. For info, the transmitter is on our ship, in Harwich Harbour, and runs at just 1 Watt. It is intended (& licenced) for a very small broadcast area!

Our music policy is that we won't play any track produced after December 1979, concentrating on the 60s and 70s when the pirate radio ships off the British coasts were most active. This means we can't, unfortunately, accept any submissions.
