Jonathan Joss was MURDERED. Words matter here. He was MURDERED. it was a HATE CRIME because he is a gay Indigenous man. Say those words. Do not dance around it. He wasn't "killed in a shooting." He was murdered in a hate crime.

That is so shameful. I rather be fired for grammar mistakes or hell, even missing deadlines which is my biggest fear every day, than for using the plagiarism machine to write.

“A woman taught me to live as a man” “Nobody can kill Big Bull! Big Bull lives forever!” “If you are a lion, I’m the leader of your pride. If you’re smart, I’m street-smartAll India ISI brand! USaad Ismart Shankar!Alias Double Ismart!” DO NOT TAKE THIS AS A REC! Both movies are VERY bad.

Hei hei... you arrived about 3 years old and without a name. You weren't supposed to get a name, as you were not supposed to stay with me. You were supposed to be here just for a little while while we found you a forever home. Well, you found a forever heart, with me.

“My being… my breath… my destination, You’re everything to me.” #Magadheera is #SSRajamouli seventh movie and it is a blast! It has everything! So when the prompt #Atlantis came for #Mermay, I had to draw warrior #Bhairava and conqueror #Sherkhan in an underwater Udaighart. #Mermay2025

These people watch WAAAY too many movies. And even then, I'm pretty sure that in NO movie "Ghost of the murder victim" was allowed as a trusted witness. Hell, there's a plot point in Ace Attorney where the Ghost LIES in the witness stand! (maybe two?).

"It's difficult for words to reach Chitti Babu's ear. But once it gets there, it stays forever." #Rangasthalam is probably one of my all time #Tollywood favorites. It makes you laugh, cry, and feel the whole gamut of emotions in 3 hours. So it was my choice for a #Miyazaki prompt homage. #Mermay2025

"Because if you've a friend like Arya, you don't need another enemy at all." Today's #Mermay2025 is #Sweettreat, and my inspiration was #Arya2, starring #alluarjun❤️ and #navdeep in what I can only describe as "Toxic Boyfriend: The movie" #Tollywood #Mermen #Mermay #Luxshineart #Tollywoodfanart

"Once I think of you, I can't get over it. I can't even sleep, beloved. My Romeo Boy, your Juliet is ready." For today #Mermay2025, the prompt was #Drama... Poor Kamar, having to work as a 'Dream Girl' on the phone, without letting all of 'her' clients that Pooja doesn't exist? #Bollywood

Adalisa Zarate @luxshine.bsky.social · 04/05/2025

"Life is like a film, it always has a happy ending and if it's not happy then it's not yet the end." Today's #Mermay2025 prompt is #Axolotl and they are connected with the idea of reincarnation, immortality and fire. And so I had to connect it with the INCREDIBLE film #omshantiom #Bollywood

Day 3 of #Mermay2025, and prompt was Hair! This time the inspiration are #amarendrabaahubali and #Maharendrabaahubali, aka. Shiva, from #Baahubali, 1 and 2. #tollywood #prabhas

"I'm mightiest and strongest... I'm King of Hell... God of Death..." Today's prompt is #Cosmic and thus, I had to do Lord Yama from #Yamadonga, because, well, who is more cosmic than the God of Death who judges our lives and souls? #Tollywood #NTRJr #MohanBabu #Mermay2025

All the hugs. My baby is between 17 and 19 (she was adoped as an adult, and was a stray, so her exact age is unknown, but I do hope she is willing to stay with me a couple more years. And I'm sure your dog knew nothing but love at your side.

While not on the same league, this reminds me of my eldest cat current doctor orders. She is VERY old and what may be probably her last month or so. Not sick, just old. She stopped eating. Dr said "You find something she'll eat? She can eat it" So yeah, let the old man have his shake.

On behalf of, I dunno, EVERY FAT KID IN the USA, l'ma go ahead and call BS on the whole bullying creates mass shooters narrative. LGBTQ kids, kids of color, disabled kids, poor kids, girl kids are bullied. Who's doing the shooting? White boys whose parents don't secure their guns

Anyways, here’s what the actual “Ultimate English Wizard” has to say on trans issues

Article from Gaytimes.com depicting the headline “Sir Ian McKellen urges queer community to stand up for trans rights BY JORDAN ROBLEDO”
The article is accompanied with a photo of Sir. Ian Mckellen at a pride parade, wearing a hat with a rainbow ribbon and waving at the camera.
The screenshot also depicts a quote by Mckellen that reads: “The problems that transgender people have with the law are not dissimilar from what used to be the case for us, so I think we should be allies really.”

Seems he blocked me too! Good riddance, tbh!

000

Adalisa Zarate @luxshine.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Oh, absolutely. But I honestly want to see him slip and openly admit that what he wants to say is that he believes that trans women don't deserve respect. Given that he keeps tap dancing around that like the coward he obviously is.

100

Adalisa Zarate @luxshine.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

Please point the "factual" inaccuracy on my sentence: "This is so, so horrible. Women are Women. Transwomen ARE women. We ALL deserve to have respect and dignity." Do you believe that there are people who don't deserve respect and dignity?

010

Adalisa Zarate @luxshine.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

This thread began with my comment. YOU replied to me. With your OPINION that the Law was... well, a Law. Which is a very neutral way of shrugging your arms at things, giving your opinion without actually saying if you think the law is wrong (Doubtful) or if you are a transphobe.

100

Adalisa Zarate @luxshine.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

They JUST stripped the rights of Transwomen to be recognized as WOMEN. As in, they can't have, for example, paperwork that correctly identifies their identity as it is, give everyone the right to dehumanize them, and lack privacy when they go to the bathroom. Just to start.

000

Adalisa Zarate @luxshine.bsky.social · 17/04/2025

And the Law is wrong. It's not just that I don't like it, it is because it is wrong, and so badly written, it is also opening up the possibility of abuse against Cis women. BTW, there are Ciswomen who do not have wombs. So automatically, that Law is ALSO saying they are not women.

Since you seem not to get it: Trans Women are Women. thus, Trans Women are protected by Women's right. Which, by the way,are HUMAN rights. And Trans Women are also human, in case you are wondering. So every right Women have? Trans women have. Because, again, WOMEN.

The fact that they think that labeling yourself is a "competition" says more about them than anything else. Especially coming from a woman whose claim to fame is literally a story about someone who was SUPER UBER SPECIAL from birth and everyone had to know that.
