There’s another channel I watch that does the dumbest fucking segues (to our sponsor), then cuts to a different set and often the host from their sister channel doing the ad read, and I think I prefer it. Their in-house ad team is also so unhinged I end up watching the ones they write themselves.

It’s my gaming rig, so like… it could be almost anything. The hardware config has changed so many times. The Windows install is old & has been tweaked & fixed several times. Some drives are OLD (but SMART is still OK!). The document is an over-formatted mess that’s been migrated between file types.

An application was consistently hanging and not recovering when attempting to export a PDF, and some other things inconsistently stuttered but recovered. After a reboot all is well… but I’m suspicious as to *why* that first boot was bad.

That would burn up several times the missing money very quickly, and when the discrepancy was pointed out they did promise to investigate. Our one-man HR department was just so incompetent he took ages to not actually fix it before getting fired for unrelated incompetence.

I’ve got a fun one! I’ve got an HSA plan, and the money was coming out of my paychecks but not showing up in the HSA account, and they fixed it moving forward but seemingly have no idea where three quarters worth of deductions went.
