"reject liberal democracy, embrace wanking in your room over hentai fanart"? At this point I will take it. Any solution to global fascism, no matter how neckbeardy.

Occasionally they make her racist to remove ambiguity but it the idea of a pure blood blond that allows them to pretend they aren't dying to be sexually bullied by a femboy.

You did, the rhetorical word salad is to go further but in a totally undefined and intelligible way.

Or because they just one out of many pro Palestinian groups steered by foreign powers to attack Britain? They broke a female police officer's spine with a sledgehammer.

No, just in the green party. Elsewhere it is a flawed democracy sliding into ultranationalism because it is an increasingly religious ethnostate that has been committing a land-grab genocide to establish itself and hasn't been convinced it needs to accept a neighbouring Palestinian state.

What does that even mean? It's a country, it exists, most of its population support its continued existence. Who needs to abandon it? Israelis? Why do they need to? They neither need nor want to? What does it mean for a non-israeli to abandon a country they don't live in?

It is that you are equating any tangible association with a country many of their co-religionists belong to as racism. It is like banning anyone who is Loyalist Ulster or pro-Taiwanese reunification with China. A conflict with two sides, but many viewpoints and guilt by association for one.

An amendment that would have explicitly clarified that Jews can stay in the party even if they attend synagogues that support Israel existing in any way (such as a two state solution) was rejected by a huge margin. This absolutely will lead to expulsion of Jewish members.

I'm listening to the speech now and he's mentioned a few concrete next steps. A named minister responsible for drafting a bill with a clear legal change. Doesn't that count?

Did he outline his plan to fuck the country into a cocked hat in that one? Because that would win...

Obama was a superb orator, but how many of his speeches really represent the announcement of a major policy change? I.e. how many are necessary milestones in a coherent narrative of 21st century history for their country? By these lights, and they are lights I would defend, Brown perhaps.

You need to leave behind something outlandish, amusing, shameful and unlikely to be preserved by others in a medium that will last long enough to come to the attention of archaeologists. Which is why before I purge my browser history I have it etched onto stone tablets and buried in graves of fame.

You are right but the police can convince the public more easily that they shot a person because they were a bad guy doing bad things who left them with no choice. The sheer number of family pets killed and the fact that so few of them are breeds that can be imagined as dangerous makes it obvious

Just to reiterate how absolutely abnormal this is, it is virtually unheard of in other OECD states. US cops got a memo a long time ago about killing dogs as a precaution and then have adopted it as a deniable form of extrajudicial punishment that discredits them as law enforcement.

In London you pay for rent too but it is a bit harder to run a hole in the wall/food truck establishment in the centre. Manhattan is a small island. Midtown and downtown are small parts of it. London sprawls and is full of awkward buildings. Plus it rains often. Take away is suburban in the UK

They see the story through the lens of the protagonist & think it's a "hero's journey" rather than a fantasy world where the protagonist is a window into magical place. But then what sells the most popcorn? Andor, Firefly and other cool high-tech low-life stories or the big sucky Skywalker stuff?

Starmer failed because he wasn't charismatic and his continuing attempts to court a labour base that doesn't exist any more by alienating his own electoral coalition sank his polls and alienated his backbenchers. I think much of the same policy mix could have been sold successfully to his people.

They checked poll tax extensively before committing to it and were surprised at the response to actual implementation. Digging in her heels brought her down. Corbyn would sink in the polls every time he mentioned his long standing euroscepticism.

I admire it in principle but both Starmer and Thatcher got to be PM by pretending they believed other things. Thatcher was pushing the country, for good or ill in a direction it wanted to go. She may have slammed down Hayek in internal meetings but she still checked which policies she could do

What they seem to be lacking is a comparison to the other countries in the study. Did any of them have discrepancies between the sampled schools and the broader population?

Most of all, how would we know? Are you sure you know who all your ancestors were in the 19th century? No infidelity? No confused paternity? I don't know any of my great grandparents. That just 3rd generation of ancestry. There must have been around 32 people a couple of centuries ago, but who?

The democratic-republican party has a monopoly after the war of 1812. It then split along factional lines. The democrats could birth two successor parties. It won't play out this way most likely, but if the GOP spirals into oblivion, they could.

There are plenty of 3D models available open source. It's actually using a 3D printer that stops people using home crafted models. And even then the authentic models are their own collection. You could always buy cheaper models made by other companies. But they're not THE models.

One of the big changes social media has brought in is the incentivisation of shamelessness. His unfitness for the interviews is an asset as more people talk about it online than if they had anyone else. The more controversy, the more clicks and views. He's cheap and high ROI.

Is that the conclusion of the paywalled article? And is that a policy difference between England and the rest of the UK?

Was that fiddled or a minor caveat? Scotland's decline in performance is belatedly acknowledged, but the article clearly wants to defend the SNP record on this. I'm not convinced either way.

At some point justice depends on the popular perception of it and the rejection of government attempts to impose tyranny while insisting it is lawful. You do want, and were always told you had, a society in which soldiers think about whether their orders are just.
