Hugely disappointed in Peter Serafinowicz. As if signing up for Harry Potter blood money wasn't bad enough, he's now resorted to touring a show where he is "deep faked" into famous people living or dead. Without their consent, obviously. I was a fan for 25+ years, bht where did his morals go?

I am so torn on this. Cos, yes, he was discriminated against... for having a discriminatory view based on nothing but a misinterpretation of his own religion. Christianity is not homophobic - people who don't understand Christianity are. Masking bigotry as belief is causing damage far and wide.

I have an Audio Diary i started on my 30th birthday. Every month I pick 20 songs that soundtracked that window of time for me. In lockdown I backdated it. I'm currently in the middle of final tweaks but I hope next year I can start to unleash 40 years of my life via music exposure. 🤯

Reviving these... some bonus 'early years' Queen single covers I made a few years ago for tracks that probably should have been A-sides but weren't. #7 is Sheer Heart Attack btw (NOTW era singles didn't have titles on the front cover). All would have enhanced Greatest Hits sweep of 1973-1980.

The late, great, Jim Henson would have been 90 today. He gave the world so much. And, alongside Terry Jones and Brian Froud, he gave me a nickname that stuck and became my real name. Happy birthday, Jim. The world is a sorrier place without you, but the love you poured into it lives on.

Yes. Tim Curry's understudy in Spamalot was none other than Craige Els - Doctor Who's own Karvanista, the character who inspired THIS Bluesky account handle, got a symbol tattooed on my body and quite probably saved my life a few years ago.

Bear in mind at the time I was a 21 year old working class kid in Greater Manchester who had only just got their first full time job a few weeks earlier. I had no idea about London and it took me a while to figure it out. By 2008 you couldn't keep me away from the capital for years. Anyway.

One of my big life regrets is not getting to see Tim Curry in Spamalot when he was in the West End. I didn't get to London for the first time until 10 months after his run and missing that was part of what drove young me to start going down there to see the things that never came up north.

Just revisited The X Files early classic Beyond The Sea. The actual kidnap plot bits are starting to date badly, but everything else is fire. Brad Dourif and Gillian Anderson bounce superbly off one another. David Duchovny wisely dials back to let them shine, as does Mark Snow's barely there score.

I think it's absolutely mad that today there's a *national news story* about 400 oil platform workers losing their jobs, and the government being blamed. 25% of the UK TV industry lost their jobs in the last 4 years and we never hear a peep about it! Some jobs are 'real jobs' I guess.
