Live2D has a free version with some limitations you can start in to learn and then could do the one month pro free trial if those limitations are too limiting for finishing the rigging you'd want. 100

In live2d items can move outside the canvas so they'd be able to position it correctly in program without the canvas/file having to be so much taller for the background. Just make a flat copy of the lance to use as a location/hand drawing reference. 110

The lance you might want to treat like a tail and actually draw it separated and centered... 110

Then you can pick up the quest and form a group for it before departing. Essentially the cutscenes can't be done as a group, but the fights can. World was the same. 030

It was quite the time. Really hoping the future update that i believe mentioned clipping and blend modes updates does something to help improve that. 110

Even with the "Do Not Collect" setting turned on about email address collecting this occurs. 001
