The last few years of drum w&d for sale here now come with hot water capabilities (40C or 60C). Frustratingly it has to internally heat it, as no houses here have hot water to the washing machine area, and the inefficiency bugs me ;)

Somewhat adjacent, running airbnbs we have noticed an increase in the last few months of our guests getting covid vaccines while they are here (especially americans), so we've had to pick up knowledge on where to go, and translate some information for them.

When they tripods finally start to lay waste to the cities, it was pretty entertaining. One could do a phantom edit AT LEAST 4 mins long. That'd be watchable.

I was initially concerned the builders just left the new door outside over night during the #tokyo #renovations but then I saw it is tied to the scaffolding, so phew, safe!

~15 years ago, I got to a Ryan Adams concert late. His opener was a guy doing an elaborate, bone dry impression of Mark Twain. Just a guy dressed like Mark Twain saying Mark Twain stuff for 20 minutes. At the end, over the PA, a man said "Val Kilmer, everybody." I somehow did not dream this. RIP.

"Ah, spring. A time of such delicate reawakening. Look closely, and you'll see the subtle shifts: the hesitant green of emerging shoots, the brave, early blossoms of the snowdrop, a tiny beacon of renewal. Here the portapotties are gently unloaded for the coming hanami season.
