Our apartments were testing the fire alarm system today where my dog clung to me for safety & howled at the danger & my cat fled for a hiding spot where I later found him in the pantry. He opens cabinets. Made me realize that in a real emergency it’s going to suck rounding up pets to evacuate.

When my kid was going through transition at age 16 in Oregon the school had nothing to do with it & her healthcare provider said it was at least a year of taking hormones & doing social transition before she could commit to any surgeries. She’s now 22 & detransitioning.
