stop trying to justify someones existence in this country by them being “hardworking” we should care about everyone being kidnapped by the govt rn regardless because they are PEOPLE and their value does not exist because of the work they do

This is how. Greta Thunberg spits fire and gives you the only media training you may ever need.

Reporter: How did the Israelis treat you, we saw them giving sandwiches?
Greta Thunberg: They probably have posted lots of PR stunts, they did an illegal act by kidnapping us in international waters but that’s not the real story here. The real story is the genocide in Gaza and systematic starvation.
Reporter: Are you worried about the others?
Greta: Yes…I’m calling for everyone who can to mobilize to demand their immediate release and, of course, to demand not only humanitarian aid being let into Gaza but also a ceasefire and most importantly an end to the occupation, an end to the systemic oppression and violence that Palestinians are facing on an everyday basis.
Reporter: “Why do you think so many countries and governments around the world are just ignoring what’s happening in Gaza?”
Greta Thunberg: “Because of racism.”

Just gonna post this here for no particular reason

Immigrant rights groups in LA have launched the Los Angeles Rapid Response Network (LARRN) to protect and support migrant families. 🌎📢 This network, led by CHIRLA and other organizations, trains volunteers, attorneys, and educators to respond to and verify reports of ICE activity in the Greater LA area.

📞 Need help or see ICE enforcement? Call the hotline at 888-624-4752 to report it and get connected to legal aid, immigrant resources, and support services. LARRN works to protect vulnerable families, educate communities, and fight against private immigration jails.

Together, we’re making sure LA stands strong as a city that supports its immigrant community. 🤝❤️

ICE is abducting immigrants off the streets and tearing families apart—sometimes right in front of their kids. Congress can stop it. Take 60 seconds to text this letter to your lawmakers now. It’s prewritten. It’s free. It’s urgent. resist.bot/petitions/PX...

🧵 Her crime?—Daring to cry “He’s not a criminal” after agents grabbed her father off the street in front of her. A jackbooted thug pointed a gun at her while opening a car door with the other hand. We need to protect our immigrants & their families. Please see resources & CTAs in my thread.

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.
