One of our Goddess Serenity was addressed by a mortal while performing a ritual of resurrecting a loved one from the dead. Back then death was not reversible, but she lent her ears to the mortal's prayers. She knew that things may not go well but she decided to help, and the first vampire was born 😇

Missing Reflection

The waves are too calm. The sand is too warm, coarse, and it gets everywhere. The sky is too empty, and all that is visible is the Sun. Nothing else.

When I had my Moon, the waves were passionate, but with enough bravery, you could have the time of your life. The sand used to be warm to the touch, but cooled down by the ocean waves so it's just the perfect temprature to bathe in the Sun, and the sky was full of clouds that looked like they were painted by Myandra herself, and just on the horizon you could always see the beautful Moon that reflected the Sun's light just the right way.

Losing your Moon is really tough. The worst part is when there is nothing you could have done about it. Things just didn't work out the way you expected to and life came in the way, and you can't really stop that. At least I like to tell myself that. Maybe I could have done more, but even the idea of that. It makes me even less motivated to do anything at all.

I do still see her occasionally. I get to see her light for moments. One may call it comforting, I know she would, but to me it's a prison, a mirage. I see what I'm yearning for the most, and yet there is nothing I can do to get to her. At this point truly nothing

I really liked myself better around her. I believe in positivity, and doing your best, and keep on striving to be better, to inspire others. I believe that you should be able to be happy with just yourself, but she gave me comfort. I was doing my best all the time, but I did it too much and I just burnt out. She gave me a chance to stop shining all the time. To turn myself off for the night. When I wasn't up there she took over and made sure I could rest. She helped me in tough times and listened to me. She gave me the strength to shine better, and when I looked at her I could see a different version of myself reflected back in her eyes, a calmer one who knows where to put his energy, who can focus on things that actually matter, who is not obsessed with doing everything perfectly. She showed me a way to become better, than I could have ever imagined. She gave me the strength to accept that I am not perfect, and I never will be. She made me like the way I am, but still left me wanting to be better, but this time for her.

Now that she is gone, what's the point in doing all this? What's the point in waking up each day, being the best version of myself, striving to be someone I can no longer see for someone I can no longer see. What is the point if I can no longer hear her laughter that made everyone's day light up? How should I try new things if she won't break me out of my prison of habit? How should I live if she is no longer here to accidentally trip over her legs, while we dance, only to break into laughter?

Unfortunately I know the answer to the last question, you just do. You live restlessly without questioning how or why you are doing things in hopes, that you will get to be comforted again by the Moon.

People say the Moon does not have it's own light, it's just the Sun's light being reflected off, but that's a lie. My Moon had the brightest light in the world.
