Today people don't know but Gods used to walk the lands of Sadel'rin once upon a time. Before the Fall they used to live among mortals, they loved and betrayed, hoped and feared like us. Now they can only sense what their believers do and can only approach them using visions #dnd #ttrpg #luxorionis

We are Gods

The gods of our world, our creators and leaders are not so different from us as you would think so. Even with all their power they still feel hope and fear as well. For all their divinity they still argue with each other and fall in love with one another.

The lord of the the sun and the lady of the moon feel happier the more we keep care of ourselves and those around us. The god of war is proud when we pick our battles and do not back down, but the bringer of peace is angry when we start them thoughtlessly. The scaled mentor feels disappointed when we let new opportunities go to waste. The wildmother is satisfied when we act passionately, but the all-seeing order is agitated when we think illogically.

The gods are part of every moment of our life. They see what we do and they all have their opinion, some things they agree on, some things they view massively different, but do not let this lead you astray. Gods are not judges we should be weighed down by. Gods are extensions of our existence, our opinions, our feelings.

In some way Gods are mortals, and Mortals are gods.

Our story begins as usual by a couple of unlikely allies coming together to defeat evil. What sets this apart from a bedtime story for me is that things are much grayer than that in our campaign and often even my players have trouble making any choice. The Power of Light

There was a time of peace in the South. After the Fall individual groups of villages were finally advanced and confident enough to establish deeper connection with other populations. Fights still arose, and some mortals were selfish and yet, most people just wanted safety for their families against monsters that lurk in the dark.

Then one day a monster appeared who stepped out of the darkness, to take everything that was touched by light for herself. She was capable of commanding the forces of the dead and an age of darkness arose. People used well established trade routes to properly help each other defend against the forces of evil, but they needed a bastion of hope.

This gave rise to the city of Everil where people of all kinds gathered in an effort to use everyone's strengths to defend against evil. The city also gave birth to the first and greatest group of heroes ever to live the Warriors of Light. Through the combined forces of the Warriors of Light and other newly established adventurer groups Aserakh was defeated forever.

Darkness was erased and peace was forged once again in the South, or at least some believe so. Remember, light cannot exist without the dark and some things don't stay erased.

I just thought I'd share, so far I had a great day and yesterday and today I finally went to the gym after 2-3 weeks of not going and my god I feel so energized. Random thought but I still find #LaLaLand just incredible with all of it's songs. I'm on the train listening to City Of Stars and it still rips my heart out. I used to think about it as a love song but nowadays it just makes me feel like a void is in the middle of my chest. It feels too real

Yesterday I finally finished Castlevania and it had an insanely satisfying ending (maybe a tad too happy but not complaining). I almost cried through the last 10 mins of the finale 😭. I felt like it was tied up super nicely. Started nocturn, so far love the similiarities between Trevor and Richter
