⠀ the demands of the emperor and his empress will not stomp out where my heart and devotion finds their home. consider my life in your delicate hands. ⠀

⠀ there is no force in existence that is capable of permanently separating my soul from yours— let me assure you, until you damn my own mind and send me away, we will remain intertwined in this endless waltz. ⠀

⠀ 我的月亮, i will forever pursue you. don’t ever believe for even a moment that fate has any other plans for me— and even if it does, i am willing to defy it. ⠀

⠀ the general stares at the royal with something like awe in his eyes. there’s another pang of minor pain in the chest— perhaps heartache, he knows, but he understands the caution they take around him. ⠀

⠀ ..that’s.. his circus. those.. are his monkeys. 🤦‍♂️ ⠀

⠀ i.. understand, your highness. but please understand; i worry not about what may come to me if it means i may be graced by your divine presence. ⠀

⠀ bowing the head. moon general chooses to disregard the ache in his chest upon the rejection— though it’s less a rejection, more a worried warning. the gentlest nod. ⠀

⠀ @lunaeques.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

⠀ he appears rather focused on perfecting the art of the blade— gentle but quick movements directed towards a training target in the courtyard. unknowing of any surrounding cookies— or so it seems. ⠀

⠀ perhaps in the dark of night, beneath the light of the moon? ..just to talk, i suppose? if it’s no trouble to you, your voice is something that i miss during times we used to share. ⠀

⠀ @lunaeques.bsky.social · 16/05/2025

⠀ ..i have to ask, your highness— hand releasing the hilt, reaching to firmly clasp the other. if never a permanent return, will you at the very least visit? ⠀

⠀ ⠀ His wisdom and viewpoint on ethics makes him a decent candidate for political action. He refuses to take no for an answer in the event that he’s absolutely certain of what action needs to be taken, and he will often argue a compromise with those around him for the better of all.

⠀ ⠀ The general makes rational decisions and judgement based on these ideals, though it is often hard to predict what he’s going to say or do just based on the look on his face. Many have noted that he has a tendency to advocate for those unable to advocate for themselves, constantly on the move.
