The Alvarado Transit Center in ABQ has to be my pick. It doesn't feature as many defining features of Pueblo/Adobe style, but it still seamlessly blends into the wider southwest style. Bonus points for a clock tower and more bonus points for Spanish tiles. Triple points for being a transit building.

Front page of the ABQ Journal for today, Jan. 16th. The main point is the larger headline that says, "Report finds needed NM road projects have high cost." They then site a mediocre study that doesn't source its sources very well in their 27 page PDF about how if we just expanded the interstates more we'd solve freight. They pay lip service to transit and other transportation investment, but don't bother to find any of those kinds of projects that would help get people out of their cars or move freight onto a train.

This guy saying what I've been saying for years and its soooooooo good to see someone in office recognize this. I've said it before, I'll probably say it till I die, the only way to beat an ascendant right is with an ascendant left.
