Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 23/05/2025So I run a TTRPG campaign and the last session had a side story about my setting's favorite pastime: Fish Racing. For the record, Swimboli Rudolph won. 020 0

Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 10/04/2025I know we'll be getting more songs for Princession Orchestra, but Over the Blaze is easily my favorite song so far. That Spanish guitar just goes so hard 020 0

Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 21/10/2024Hot take time: If the first episode of Uzumaki looked the same as the rest of the series, people would have been foaming at the mouth saying that the stilted animation was a brilliant artistic choice that perfectly encapsulated the unease and uncanny horror of Junji Ito's works. 010 0

Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 20/06/2024Broke: Euphonium is queerbaiting Woke: Kumiko is bi and either ship is viable and potentially supported by the text Bespoke: MaShuu but they both dress up as Kumiko in the bedroom. 021 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 18/06/2024Reina folding her slice of pizza is actually very significant. She's going to America for college, specifically New York. Your girl's going to Julliard, Kumiko. 020 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 16/06/2024The two times that Rupa has shown interacting with her fans it was animated in 2d. Just goes to show that 3dcg has yet to develop the technology to properly portray this woman's sheer rizz. 031 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 08/06/2024The first and last lines of the chorus of the Yorukura Opening are so satisfying to listen to. The assonance used together with the irregularity of the breaths when the lines are sung just tickle my brain. 000 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 02/06/2024Not since Hatoko's breakdown in Inoubato have I even been as blown away by a seiyuu's performance as I have by Kumiko's conversation with Mayu at the beginning of this week's episode of Hibike! Euphonium season 3. Her delivery was so perfectly devastating. 100 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 20/05/2024This was Reina's Idea. The swimsuits were first shown during Chikai no Finale, ostensibly set in 2016. Reina probably saw the meme a year after it had been relevant and made Kumiko buy matching sets. This is canon. I will not argue. 0176 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 13/05/2024Been watching Girls' Band Cry and am absolutely loving how Nina has a chip on her shoulder the size of fucking Shibuya. I also enjoy the fact that the girls in this punk/punk-adjacent band actually *feel* punk. At least, about as punk as you can make marketable anime girls to be. 000 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 05/05/2024Hibike! Euphonium 3 got me in the mood to continue reading Ayano Takeda's broadcasting club manga HanaShura where the main character competes in a recitation competition reading from a novel called Aoi Haru no Kazoete, a novel about girls in a broadcasting club written by... Ayano Takeda. 100 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 16/04/2024The Hibike! Euphonium 3 opening has a couple of really cool callbacks in the second half of the song that isn't used for the OP. I noticed this after listening to the opening a very healthy 40 times today. 010 0
Luna @luna7966.bsky.social · 12/02/2024I think the neatest pieces of weeb I have in my admittedly limited collection are these ~9 year old @rosuuri.bsky.social NicoMaki prints I picked up on a whim from a cosplay convention. Wild to see how far they've gotten since. 110 0
