If you already have a computer, it can cost as low as ~<100$ to get a non screen tablet, plus Paint tool SAI (cheap no subscription $60ish to own forever last I checked and great, simple art program) Live 2D has a limited free mode, and the subscription costs ~120 a year Most of the ppl doing comms

HUMAN ARTISTS, use one piece to convince people to follow you It's a couple years old but I think it's probably this one :')

A color illustration of a tiefling/dragonkin character with teal skin, tall straight horns, and a long tail. She is dressed in several layers of reds, golds, and blues, and is holding a wooden staff with a lantern dangling from the top. She has a serene expression. The background is art nouveau style with stylized clouds, grass, and lotus flowers on a pink gradient sky.

Not sure people realise how hard it's been recently for artists to survive, or how deeply appreciated every single order is. If you can't buy something, it makes a huge difference just to share our work. If you can't share our work, a little sacrifice to the Old Gods on our behalf means a lot, too 💜

Applies to any kind of artistic creation. Your favorite vtuber? They probably dropped a game because viewership wasn’t “here” (or not visible) Artist? They probably stopped doing a specific artstyle or OC because they were not told it was loved. Creators can’t read mind. Tell them you like it.

Casual PSA: Every interaction you have with a streamer shouldn't default to playful bullying 24/7. Because after a while it doesn't seem like playful banter anymore. Take a break from the "booli the streamer" once in a while and just vibe and chat with them.

4) Favorite OC Design That has to go to Luna. Adopted from and given new life (ref sheet) by @stixdraws.bsky.social! The steampunk moth and the leader of the Junkers. For images 3 & 4 in order ---> 🎨: @luna748.bsky.social, @nyabellcafe.bsky.social

A ref sheet depicting the front, side, and back of Luna - The Steampunk Moth.

An extra part to the ref sheet that shows notes of Luna's clothing, gauntlet, sleeve, and wings, as well as showing how her prosthetic legs change from blade mode to safe mode.

Luna is working in her shop on a project that's under a tarp. The room is steamy while she works up a sweat. Luna attempts to remove her coat to let off some steam as she continues to work.
In the background, there are various tools, a robots head, a few pictures of the Junkers she cares for, a mini sculpture of Brickzton, the building, and a tiny plush of Plushy.

Luna is working in her workshop again late at night. She's finishing up a little gadget with tools around her. Tubes and wires hang from the ceiling while her bookshelf contains books, a small sculpture of Brickzton, the sentient building, and a little binch (Crazed.Doodler's [aka NyaBellArt] plushies) version of Plushy the Plushroom.
