86 years ago today, in the early hours of the morning, HMS Royal Oak was torpedoed by a U-Boat in Scapa Flow. She rolled on her side and sank in under 14 minutes. My great uncle Ted survived but 835 of his crew mates weren't so lucky. Today I remember the lost.
