The car came with a radio subscription trial, we found a channel for video game music and have been bemoaning how it's all extremely whatever. But it seems it does have spots of taste,

The car panel displaying what's currently playing: Time Station, from Ape Escape (PS1). It does not list the composer though, who is Soichi Terada in this case.

They made a fankit for Village in the Shade and I'm losing it at scrolling down through the default character portraits only to encounter the player character,

From the Honogurashi no Niwa / Village in the Shade official fankit. It's the default look of the player character (default name: Ame), in a video game streaming setup and also pixel sunglasses.

these things!!! they had a flap of bubble gum and also like, video game hint cards. I never actually owned a Game Gear but I liked collecting the cards as a kid.

Taken from one of the Sonic fandom wikis on Food Products. It's a plastic container that resembles a Game Gear. I distinctly remember some plain pink bubble gum in these and also various collectable hint cards that featured various Sonic game covers.

From that same wiki page: this one's a plastic container that resembles a Mega Drive controller.

The nine games thing that I meant to get around to for a bit but forgot. Also this is tricky, Threads of Fate could compete against Legend of Mana there, I did replay both a lot as a kid...

The nine games (that shaped who I am) chart via: https://my9games.net/en

The following games are listed: Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi's Island, Sonic Adventure, Legend of Mana, Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil, Monster Hunter Tri, Final Fantasy XI, Bust-A-Move (Puzzle Bobble) and Disgaea 3.

I obtained two cheap fountain pen recently. My meager funds are fortunate in that I don't feel any pull towards collecting the pens themselves. (So long as they're comfy to write with!) However, oooh that shimmer ooohhhh

Writing test with the Pilot Kakuno (medium nib). The ink sample is Vinta's Dugong Bughaw, which is a deep blue ink that shimmers a magenta-pink in the light.

Big Walk is a game about communication. #art

A simple sketch. Two players are contemplating and attempting to convey the scribble on a block to solve a puzzle on the other side of the wall.

"Alright, next block?" asks the player on the other side of the wall.

"It's got two overlapping circles at the base that continue up into a bulb up top?" One person responds. "Like a tulip or"

"IT'S A WEENIS" interrupts another player.

"Yeah," agrees the original speaker. "It's a weenis."

Photo. Sasha sprawled out in a bit of sunbeam. She does look remarkably like a cgi movie animal here somehow.

Village in the Shade screenshot. The player stands by a river that seems to have a very large salamander(?) in it. There's been many critters about the village and it's very charming.
