Well IMO all the recent iPhones have great cameras. And you get a lot of new stuff every time you upgrade iOS

Photos are great, but an upgrade really depends on what you currently have. I do like the pro controls though!

Not sure how it compares to the Androids, but I'm pretty sure it's the only smartphone camera with aperture blades. There's a chart in the linked article.
