I disagree. With Farage you pretty much see what you get - as you put it a hate peddler. Starmer is far more dangerous than that. He gets in on a progressive inclusive platform, then immediately does a U-turn on everything, and begins purging anyone he considers a threat.

So? That doesn't alter the fact that Israel came into being, and continues to expand to this day, by killing people and taking their homes. And yet to its apologists the settler colonial project has some "right to exist", but presumably not the people it massacred.

I think the UK Gov is either testing the waters or getting ready to give the Shomrim formal legal powers and eventually firearms under the guise of keeping the Jewish community safe and punishing the police for their "cowardice". I think that is what this moral panic about Maccabi FC is to do with.
