If you are looking for an AI-free, bloat-free Notepad replacement, you don't need Edit++. If you're on Windows 11 25H2 you can just type in "edit" in the terminal. Yes, after years of absence the MS-DOS default text editor is back! It has been resurrected and re-written in rust.

This is how a barn owl looks like without feathers. If you never saw a living owl, and were working only from it's skeleton, would you be able to faithfully reconstruct how it actually looks? Or would you end up with something like this? Dinosaurs probably looked nothing like we imagine them.

I was today years old when I found out you can just run a full Linux shell on your Android device without jailbraking it by just installing the Termux app. You can even install sshd and ssh into your phone!

Phyton’s way of implementing “private” variables is wild because it’s just name-mangling them but they are still fully accessible. Encapsulation in Python is essentially just a handshake agreement between developers.
