@bandainamcousa.bsky.social someone has been gatekeeping the 30 Minute Sisters from me! I love the idea of model kits, but the usual ones like planes and mechas just didn't appeal. Finding what was an 'assembly required' bjd that can be modded with the accessory kits just got you a huge fan!

Went to @3riverscomicon.bsky.social again! The layout of the floor was different (+ confusing), and not as many cosplayers as last year, but I still wanted to highlight the two I loved 💕 I've never gotten to see a Sarah irl, I was so happy 🥹 #cosplay #maomao #apothocarydiaries #labyrinth

A cosplayer at a convention, dressed up as MaoMao, the main character of The Apothecary Diaries. They are standing upright with their hands folded into the cuffs of the sleeves, and are smiling at the viewer.

A cosplayer at a convention, of Sarah from the 1986 film The Labyrinth. They are wearing the character's gown from the ballroom scene, stated by the cosplayer to be a modified vintage wedding dress.

please understand. artists don't get nearly as much feedback (praise, comments or otherwise) as you think they do. much less than years and years ago. we don't know how much you like it. we don't know how it affected you. unless you say something, or recommend it, comment, reblog. anything.

Happy 10th, you magnificent freakshow. #TheFinalPam

A digital drawing of The Final Pam, a woman in a fancy, fur-collared dress, white-rimmed sunglasses and a bouffant hairstyle.

She's smiling at the viewer, fingers steepled, and an there's an explosion behind her.

Dialogue: "Hello again, the Smiths.

Is next time now.

Did you remember to invite Pam?"

A while ago, a patient at work and I had matching #Totoro wallets! When I asked their favorite #Ghibli movie, I couldn't resist a little post-it crossover doodle. I like to think Howl would be amused but a little confused by the spirits, their reasoning beyond his understanding- at least, at first

I vended at Meadville Pride today BUT THE IMPORTANT PART was that I was offered a rat to hold and it immediately scampered onto my shoulder, boggled its lil eyes, and began to fall asleep in my hands. Immediate trust. I am a rat whisperer now.
