did a quick scrappy self playtest of the ideas I had for the hockey tcg, didn't feel too bad at all! I think I have a good foundation. Def need to make it more distinct from a simplified MTG though lol

Resident Evil (2026) loved it they gotta just give zach creggar a blank check going forward. probably my favorite video game adaptation in the sense that it was so Video Gamey without feeling lame or pandering It has like "levels" and item progression and enemy progression and bosses. just so fun

Coyote vs ACME (2026) I didn't expect much, but wanted to see it to support it nonetheless. And I was surprised how much I liked it! Lots of funny jokes, I liked the visual style of it a lot, and it has that distinct James Gunn flavor even though he didn't direct it Warner Bros confounds me

Jump King Quest (2026) Pretty hard to think of a single complaint I have with this game. Really good characters, extremely fun gameplay, AMAZING exploration and world, great bosses I def think this is a hidden gem and one of my goty contenders You can also do buster wolf in it

Supergirl (2026) really liked it! not sure if I liked it more than Superman 2025, but I will say that Supergirl is INFINITELY more interesting of a character than Superman, and retroactively makes me like Superman a lot more with her characters contrast

The Boys (2019-2026) I was strangely attached to this show as it flipped between peak fiction and some of the worst character writing I've ever heard. In the end it kinda felt like there was no way to stick the landing, but somehow they did it! My investment paid off and I'm happy I stuck around

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) boy this movie sure is longer than it should be. there's like a solid 30 minutes where I was just confused why it wasn't ending Still good, still a classic, but I wouldn't personally put it anywhere near my horror GOATs like Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Scream
