Found a puppy on the streets of Shanghai. We spent two hours trying to find a home for her. Finally found some police officers willing to take her in to find her a home. I named her Shang.

I love a dorky talking-head guy in a video or documentary who is wearing a tie of the thing he is an expert on. Like in this Wired video about a guy who makes good paper airplanes. If I have any questions about paper airplanes, I'm directing them toward the guy wearing the paper airplane tie.

I use this thing. It's a squishy gelatinous tear drop shaped fidget toy by a company called Nee Doh. It's a lot firmer than most squishy fidget toys which, to me, makes it a much more satisfying thing to mess with all day while I work.

My dog, Umbreon, has passed away. She made it to 15 1/2. She radiated pure joy, despite her numerous illnesses. She never let anything get her down. I wrote about her in a Cracked column over 10 years ago, back when I first started living with her. www.cracked.com/blog/4-surpr...

Umbreon back when we let her hair grow out. We cut it much shorter as she got older.

I took a very zoomed in picture of a cool-looking bird when I was in Cartagena this past weekend. The artifacting on it is so bad that it gave the bird a hooked beak (which it didn't have) and what appears to be sunglasses.

My girl Umbreon is 15 years old today. She has like eight different illnesses all competing to kill her and she absolutely refuses. Heart disease, diabetes, she's going blind, and her hearing is starting to go, yet she's still got the energy and enthusiasm of a puppy. The best dog in the world.
