Aphasia therapy often occurs in quiet clinic environments, but everyday communication doesn't. People w/aphasia's (PWA's) increased perceived difficulty for coping w/ background noise should be acknowledged, & training should be designed to prepare them for this. pubs.asha.org/doi/10.1044/...
