Game doing this isn’t gonna win me back

Luigi’s Sidekick @luigisidekick.bsky.social · 39m

It’s still fun but my god this is like the only racing game I’ve played where it genuinely feels like I have to play meta to stand a chance a lot of the time

Playing Crossworlds for the first time in a few months and I remember why I stopped playing this game once I reached Legend cause I kinda hate the items in this game lol I feel like I get hit just one single time and I feel like my race gets ruined cause you lose all your speed

Luigi’s Sidekick @luigisidekick.bsky.social · 5h

Some of them don’t even give you 4K and 60fps which if the upgrade is paid I feel that should be the BARE MINIMUM of what you get but I guess not

Luigi’s Sidekick @luigisidekick.bsky.social · 5h

I think the most disappointing thing about the Switch 2 so far is how incredibly hit or miss the dlc expansions have been Forgotten Land and Wonder’s were actually pretty decent but then you got Jamboree’s which was genuinely a scam and Pikmin 4’s looks even worse somehow

Went to the old gas station I used to work at to get a drink and one of the new employees there recognized my In Stars and Time shirt so uh that was neat

I mean I think the game has language options built in so it’s not a huge deal I just think that’s kinda funny

So I was able to get a copy of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book for about 40 bucks online and it should be here in about 2 weeks But funny thing is that I went back to check on my order and they changed the image from the English box art to the Japanese one so I might be getting a Japanese copy lol

I was kinda okay with it cause with the new additions it kinda made fights feel extremely quick and snappy but yeah some kind of hard mode would have been really nice to have

IN NEED OF HELP:

Sunday night, my laptop hinge cracked while in use. The laptop still works, but said screen is loose and now I can't properly close it carry my laptop without the risk of it breaking apart.

I took it to a local tech shop, and the owner estimated the repair that from all the fees such as the diagnostic check and parts, it adds to an estimate high of $250, and this is IF they are able to fix it.
On top of already going through 3 weeks of financial strain after unexpected emergencies and sudden expenses, I'm stretched so thin I can't cover it all on my own.

I rely on this laptop for practically everything for two years, including academics and art. I can only do so many tasks with my phone alone, and any bigger projects and needs are at risk. I refuse to let my semester or future plans implode overnight.

Since time is very critical in this situation, I ask for a stretch goal $150 dollars by the end of the week (October 5tH) to cover part of the repair costs and to help keep me afloat as fast as possible.
Simply sharing this post is also a HUGE help!

I was hoping it wouldn't have come to this or so abruptly, especially since I'm not on socials as much I once was and some people don't know me personally,,but I must take action fast so I can quickly get back on top of things again.

Welp, can now say I’ve played the 6 classic Final Fantasy games and overall had a pretty good time with them, especially the SNES games For my overall ranking uh 1. FF6 2. FF5 3. FF4 4. FF1 5. FF3 6. FF2

Final Fantasy II bored the hell out of me

110

Luigi’s Sidekick @luigisidekick.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

They go on for what feels like ages, the encounter rate is stupidly high, they have a multitude of fake rooms and dead ends that makes navigating even more of a chore I don’t think it’s awful but this is easily the weakest Final Fantasy I’ve played so far and by a pretty good margin

000

Luigi’s Sidekick @luigisidekick.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Okay I’m basically at the end of Final Fantasy 2 and yeah this game was boring as hell lmao I don’t despise the progression system but I vastly prefer standard level ups, and I think the main thing that kills this game for me is the dungeons like they just suck I’m sorry

100

Luigi’s Sidekick @luigisidekick.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

They don’t have to print the game on a disc because it’s GTA They can make it cost 100 dollars because it’s GTA They can make a 400 dollar set that doesn’t even include the game because it’s GTA

140

Luigi’s Sidekick @luigisidekick.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

GTA is in such a crazy position that they pretty much can nickel and dime their consumers as much as humanly possible and not get any comeuppance for it Like everyone going “it’s GTA” meant they can basically get away with doing whatever they want

140

Luigi’s Sidekick @luigisidekick.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Okay the dungeons in this game are REALLY starting to annoy me like why are all of them so freaking long with a multitude of dead ends and have encounters that come up every 7 steps?

🌸The ladies and Mog of Final Fantasy VI 🌸 🖌️: acrylic gouache+gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper I think this might be my favourite piece yet 💚💛❤️ ⟡ #finalfantasy ⟡ #FF6 ⟡ #art

Acrylic Gouache+gouache painting of the main female cast of Final Fantasy VI along with Mog
they're all floating to a black background with details of flower petals, white dots and opal-colored sprayed dots.

On top is Terra, a pretty young lady with green wavy hair, wearing her red dress with flower patterns, pink pastel stockings with flower patterns, pastel purple cloak and red boots with golden decals. She is sitting comfortably, and Mog is next to her.

Celes is sitting on the right side, wearing her Amano inspired outfit with a purple tank-top, yellow west and trousers and white boots with decals on it. She has long blonde hair, and wearing a fancy hair ornament.

To her right and in-front of Terra is Relm, a child with blond curly hair and a big smile. She is wearing a big red beret with pattern, a yellow cloak connected to her necklace, a black tank-top, red puffy trousers with star pattern and red boots. She is holding a big painting brush with her left hand.

I mean I don’t exactly mind dodging everything but considering I kinda also need enemies to hit me to up my hp and defense idk if that’s gonna be a good thing in the long run

You know something I’ve noticed in almost every battle is that either the enemies do absolutely fuck all to me or wreck me by spamming me with status affects like paralysis stun locking me and there’s no in between
