I used to make art from a place of panic, just some frantic desire to be seen and understood. Then I got help, met my spouse, moved across the country. I'm actually happy but because of that I am relearning where to draw inspiration from. I'll always make art, just be a bit slower until then ❤️

Birthday boys

Two boys pose together for a photo. Max, the younger of the two, hugs Rod from behind. His chin resting on the other boys shoulder. He wears a pale blue sweater with hearts embroidered on the sleeves. Rod smiles at the photographer while Max looks far less amused.

Sleeping beauty

A young man lays sprawled on his bed, legs open and vulnerable. His body is scarred and he wears a heavy metal collar around his neck. White hair falls around his face as he sleeps. Above his hangs a framed print of clouds from the I Spy Fantasy book. He wears a pair of small pink shorts and a matching bralette. The bedspread he lays on is blue. Yellow star and moon pillows contrast with the blankets. Dark blue curtains embroidered with small gold stars are pulled open, denying him privacy.

And a happy new year

A young man stands in the light of a Christmas tree, bloodshot eyes dull despite the glow. His long white hair hangs limply around his shoulders and down his back. He wears a green and red plaid sweater with an oversized white collar decorated with holly leaves. A ghost of a smile plays over his scarred and chewed up lips.

Kith and kin

A pig hangs against a simple blue backdrop with painted on clouds. A young man with a scarred mouth and white hair presses his cheek to the pig. A clawed hand cradles the animal’s face as pink eyes stare off into the distance. The young man’s ears wears an oversized translucent coat. The background is visible through the fabric but the it warps the colors, making them shine an uncomfortable pink.

The closeness is not an act of care or a cry for mercy for the slain pig. This is a show of ownership over a meal.

Waiting for something to happen

Isa, a blue skinned humanoid with purple furry legs and a fluffy tail, lays naked in bed. His long double ears press back slightly and the creature looks sad. Purple ropes bind his legs together and keep his arms behind his back. The ropes match the color of the blood dripping from his nose. His multi colored hair falls down into his face, obscuring his view of someone off screen. Whoever he is looking at did this to him.

Spilling guts, just not his own #goretober

A fae creature with four ears and whiskers sits on a pile of blood and viscera. A pink and orange dress puffs out around him and partially obscures his paws. A fluffy striped tail curls behind him. Before him is a human heart and he smiles up at the viewer as if it were a present.

I haven't actually got my surgery yet but I'm allowed to post this.

A drawing of a nude, nullified girl covered in bruises, cuffed and chained up in a dirty cell. The text says "I DIDN'T CONSENT TO BE BORN", "CHOCK ON MY COCK", "(Oh wait you fucking CAN'T anymore. Get fucked.)"

Rancid bastard got a bloody nose

A young man in a Terrifier t-shirt glares at the camera. A snarl curls over his lips as blood flows down from his nose to stain his mouth and teeth. White hair falls over his eyes, long and messy. An older man stands behind him, his large tattooed hand cupping the boy’s face. His thumb smears blood across his cheek while the ink on his fingers spells out “down”.

Priestess of Blood and Hunger

Max sits on the lid of a trashcan as if it were a throne. Garbage lays at his bare feet and hot mist billows out from the sewer grate below. The boy wears a black night gown and a dark brown hoodie. A ribbon is tied in a bow around his throat. His white hair falls messily in his face and his mouth hangs open slightly, as if lost in a trance. In his clawed right hand he holds a bowl of blood and in the other a handful of weeds. Melting snow still lays in clumps on the ground and roof tops but the cold doesn't seem to bother him. The piece is a reference to The Priestess of Delphi by John Collier.

I don’t have a separation between sexuality and gender. I say I identify as a cenobite because it’s the quickest way to explain that I want to be more. Feel more. Break down the barriers between pleasure and pain until it is one sensation. My body is mine to break and change

Cold tiles and cold hearts

The door opened quietly. Light from the hall cut into the bathroom to expose the young man on his floor. He was naked, raw, and cold on the bathroom tiles. Long white hair fell around him, a mark of beauty in the dark. The kid must have been struggling against his cuffs again, still trying to pry himself free. It was only a matter of time before he broke a thumb to escape them but he knew Max wouldn’t push it that far just yet.

Rod let out a breath through his nose when he saw the torn stitches on Max’s ankle. The blood was smeared around grotesquely and Rod knew that had been intentional. The kid had dug in with his toenails, ripping into his own flesh and for what? To annoy Rod? Act out? Get more attention? Rod figured that tonight the latter was the most likely.

Max didn’t speak. Didn’t frown or scowl or beg. All he afforded his captor was the same seemingly passive stare he always gave him. Rod knew damn well not to trust that stillness. Love couldn’t fix a monster and it never would. As he looked down at Max, his heart, he told himself this was for the best.

Max hanging out at the playground

Max, a boy with long white hair and a grin that doesn’t meet his eyes. He sits on the bars at a playground, frilly white skirt hanging down around his scarred and bare feet. On each ankle is a ribbon tied in a bow and covering his dress is a big black t shirt. He’s happy to be near and likely up to no good.
