Genuine question: how do people manage students’ requests for letters of recommendation? I would be interested in hearing about the systems and strategies academics use to navigate the multiple requests from students without going crazy. Do you use forms? Spreadsheets? A really tidy email folder?

This whole brain rot, shitposting, skibidi toilet thing reminded me that in the early 00s two types of Internet slang were massively popular in Brazil: miguxês & tiopês. Those Internet vernaculars were criticised despite functioning as identitary and community markers (even if through irony) 🧵
