A lot of things suck in this lifetime, but I remember when the thought of this was incomprehensible. This is beautiful.

I really resent the constant emphasis on gameplay genre. In Stars and Time, Mouthwashing, and Slay the Princess (to name only three popular, recent games) are all masterclasses in storytelling. but hey, a walking sim with light puzzle elements, a traditional RPG, and a *visual novel*? fuck em right?

so, in stars and time is 22nd in tumblr's list of most talked video games this year. you might think "well, it means its a tumblr game for tumblr teens, all about friendship and cute shit and maybe some really emotional scenes or w/e", and you might be right. which means it's also very fucking good

in stars and time's 22nd place on this fandom post https://www.tumblr.com/fandom/768877283328098304/video-games

Mouthwashing was made in 15 months by 5~7 people. A geniously written story fully incorporating its genre into its storytelling was made in just over a year. By less than 10 people. Remember.

Um wow... was not expecting this positive of a reaction to a simple QRT about Dissolve Mode in our Carol & the End of the World BG paintings! 😳 Since y'all seem to have liked that so much, I thought I'd put all the pages of the BG Paint style guide I drafted in one thread! 🥰
