A dear friend of mine had Orr as a supervisor. It was hell on earth for them. The stories they’d tell about his conduct were horrifying. Cambridge need to do something about actually checking up on their staff *about whom there are multiple complaints*.

Here is the full suspension letter from UGent that was sent to Nathan Cofnas, it shows ample reason for his suspension and potential termination. they looked past his fictions because to them he was never meant to serve more than a superficial purpose. it wasn't their overzealous commitment to diversity that landed him at cambridge, it was their lack of it. they wanted a shallow commitment that could score them friendly headlines.

Going through a chapter checking footnotes, and discover I can’t find my full transcriptions of a bunch of the manuscripts. Spend thirty minutes panicking, before realising that 2019 me MADE THEM BY HAND. Crucial evidence and I just wrote them in PENCIL in a notebook I bought in TK MAXX. PENCIL.
