While the 'belief' plot draws attention, the core message of the final, deliberative consensus statements is that evidence linking smartphone and social media use to negative outcomes is limited, mixed, context-dependent, insufficient to support causal claims, and better research is needed.

Yesterday I attended the MHRA 'Regulation and Evaluation of AI in Digital Mental Health Technologies' event. I was given the opportunity to speak about my ongoing PhD study looking at the use of DMHTs in the NHS and facilitate the afternoon workshops on protocol development. What a great event! 👏
