Troon beach, Scotland. I've met up with cousins and scattered the ashes of my Aunt. Then a swim in the sea.

I've just bought a snorkel because I want to swim in this quarry near me and meet the sturgeon. (It is allowed)

Jackdaw Quarry, Lancashire. It's a diving centre but wazzocks like me can pay just to have a swim. There are showers and a cafe. Do not let me leave it another year!

The summer hols have been good for the comic shop. Planning the rest of the year now, based on customer feedback and what sold. The best thing for us has been having the latest comics out again (but without the stress of pull-lists which was a lot like herding cats).

Shop bookshelves with graphic novels, Star Wars books, Dr Who DVDs and similar on.
