So very little artwork of Gaster of late, but piece by piece, elements may fall into place. Currently there is at least one sketch of Gaster on a page to be hidden. Nothing outstanding... Yet vital to the nature of the book, as I see it. Later. They will be folded away, unseen and enclosed.

So busy have been the times that I've only now remembered... To work on a new book means that I can secret away Gaster art into it, where it will be hidden from all eyes, between pages and among relative darkness. (By this, I mean hiding it in parts of the book that become part of the binding.)

Also, do not forget to wash your rice. Seasoning mirin,or just rice-seasoning of various kinds (clear liquid),works wonders. The resulting starch-water can also be good for houseplants. The same goes for that from cooking pasta. (Mind small changes to soil acidity, so far as I know of the effects.)

What is it to persist past many layers of figurative death, dissolution,being forgotten(a further type of death),transcending your scope of the world (noosphere and death/removal),and grappling with the abstracts above? Conjecture on Gaster and the Depths: If a dark world is sentience applied to objects, and the Titan is noted as a Guardian... What of deeper spaces? Are emotion, notion, (knowledge) and symbols the next layer? One is interacting in a known, the other is wholly alien What is it to remain sane here?

Far busier this weekend than anticipated. At least now there is a chance that I can return to a more healthy type of creativity, despite the vast cut in available time. It is both blessing and curse. Ideas will remain in the sketchbook, encoded in thumbnails and a scrawl of ink. Gaster is there.

Life allows little art, even time for consideration of it. ... And yet, I still dream. Art is still what exists between the stone of stress and the press of the earth. There is a tiny card of bristol, with just enough time for a few ink strokes a day. Not much, but it is Gaster, near to the mind.

The only reason why more aren't scared of Gaster is because of fandom oversaturation of him, imo. You only ever hear *of* him, never seeing him directly. Always listening. To me, in the UT/DR franchise, he's still the baddest motherfucker that ever did live.

That, and many works are not considered worth saving in the grand scheme of data and space; they may not even be valued by their own creators. It's the enthusiasm of community which sustains a material. I've had an honest wonder if fanwork libraries may arise somewhere? A worthy endeavour, if so.

This is actually a wide concern of mine, given my lay interest in archiving - and also just from a form of statistical or redundancy standpoint. To me, anything over 8 years on the internet is at risk of disappearing. Relying on 'the cloud' is foolish. It's just servers elsewhere, mistakes happen.

I assume that the perg doesn't fuss too much at being folded for signatures? That is to say, fine grain and tooth aren't always great in most papers. Might I ask of the book boards? Davey board, maybe? Oak or wood panel? Palimpsest is a good nod, and I've found that book-use notes are a must.

The craftsmanship is enviously neat and even, and the bookbinding is sound! I've wondered at pergamenata used for bookbinding. I've been making my own books in bristol vellum, which is quite stiff and inflexible (this has consequences on the spine, load/book-use forces, and between signatures).

I can speak for this, and I am rather glad that others also take to that interpretation. Glimpses in small details, fragments found, lit only on their edge by a mere mention. I am led to ask what significance there may be to many minds gathering Gaster's reflection. And what of the artists...?
