it took me 800 years to draw this so Apologies in advance for my speed but post max vw prompt!! vash is not as goopy eyed here but his eyes are certainly wet and is still slowly getting used to it all #vashwood #trigun

black and white sketch comic of post trimax vash and wolfwood, in bed together, beginning with wolfwood drowsily waking up. a 3 panel sequence focused on vash’s eyes, as though observed by wolfwood. vash has his eyes closed at first, a tear coming out of his left eye and it drips as he steadily opens them, before they glance towards wolfwood, making eye contact. he smiles at wolfwood and says, “morning, wolfwood.” wolfwood, bundled in the blankets that is also draped over vash, looks back with a slightly troubled expression.

$from beneath the covers, a panel showing their undressed bodies, as wolfwood reaches his arm over and grabs vash, pulling him towards him, “c’mere.” vash is hugged into wolfwood’s chest, arm over his shoulder and a hand pressed to cover the ear that’s away from wolfwood’s body. the text bubble is more fractured as wolfwood says “get some rest. i can tell ya barely slept. there’s nowhere we hafta be.” vash’s hand slips from the front of wolfwood’s torso to wolfwood’s lower back. the thumps of wolfwood’s heart sounds throughout the page.$

vash presses his fingers into wolfwood’s lower back, reminiscence of a panel from volume 10. wolfwood says, “sleep, vash. i’ll be right here.” a close up of vash’s eye, an expression that could be contemplative or soothed. his eye then shuts close. vash says, “your voice sounds far away.” wolfwood says, “focus on the important sound yer hearin’ right now.” a quiet beat. vash then prompts again, “i like your voice…” the thumps pick up pace and the comic ends with a drawing of vash asleep, still at wolfwood’s chest while wolfwood has an arm over him and his hand to his face, blushing.
