Most neuroscience research is exploratory: they search for *something* rather than testing a hypothesis. It's harking. I used to see that as a problem, but not anymore. The 1st papers generate hypotheses; the real testing comes later. Science only make sense collectively, not individually.

Seriously, neuroscientists here: why do you call "brain connectivity" what it's just correlations of some type? Using the word connectivity is misleading, since it relates to structure and no way this is correct w/o a robust assessment. You can observe this just by changing params in dynamics.
